yeah Ive heard about this.

I was the one who brought up Greenzap and havent spammed it since spamming it on TPF.

Im just going to wait back and see how this goes... if the site is actually legit and works, I might use my free $25

If it doesnt work out and is a scam, all they have is some info of mine that they could find anyways.

The story is that the guy running it is a know scam artist, I couldn't say one way or the other. FWIW.

I'm hearing more and more how much this site is very suspicious. I'm glad I didn't sign up. Here's what I read on RGP:

[This is taken directly from someone's post]

What RGP has to say about Green Zap:

A. it is a pyramid scheme-don't waste your time

B.ANYONE WHO IS EVEN CONSIDERING GREENZAP needs to google DAMON WESTMORELAND or just go to the San Diego BBB page and search for the same name.

In fact, just to make it easier for you, click this link:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Damon+Westmoreland

Good luck if you get involved with this (so far unconvicted) Pyramid Scam
Artist.

From San Diego, knows the name too well.

D. 25 is too good to be true.

I was going to do it, then it occurred to me that this could be a new
variation on phishing for email addresses to spam and identities to steal or
sell.

I would like to see a real alternative to Paypal, but I think I will wait
and see if this thing is bogus. I don't need $25 that badly

E. Its owned by an infamous pyramid scam artist, so if you wait you won't
get in on time, you better join now.

Yeah I heard about Damon and the whole deal.

Im not too worried about them having my address and stuff since they could get that if they wanted to.

Im more worried about things like a credit card # or SSN, which I would never give them.

why does everyone say DW runs it? He does not. I will lok more into him and al but Alex Sonkin is the man behind it. Also do you think Visa or Mastercard would put there name on a Grenzap card if it were a scam? I personaly dont know that is a real question. I do however know that Mastercard wil for sure have their name on a GZ card.
