anyone here go into boston for the rolling rally/parade today?
i had to work early, but i got into boston an just hung out by fenway in the early afternoon. i was down on yawkey way, with a whole ton of other people just hanging out outside the park and waiting for the players to leave in their cars.
the absolute highlight was seeing john henry come out of the park with the world series trophy. he saw how many people were out there, and he decided that he woul dbring it out. it was a shitload of fun, and seeing that up close made all the waiting worth it.
