In 2 hours, I will be on my way back into this contest. That's when this freeroll starts:

Talking Poker 06-24-05 08:27 PM

I'm also playing in a freeroll at Intertops tonight. Might as well give myself twice the chance of getting back into this thing.

Talking Poker 06-24-05 08:47 PM

Out of the Forum Freeroll. Chalk me up for 35 hands there (that's definitely rounding up).

PShabi 06-24-05 09:41 PM

You guys all suck

I should jump in this thing the last week and beat you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Talking Poker 06-24-05 09:47 PM

You don't have the skillz ;)

I'm less than 40 spots away from being back in this contest (top 100 finish ITM). 994 in it to start.

Top 100 finish ITM. We're down to 59, guaranteeing me at least $7.01 of fresh bankroll!

I'm one of the chipleaders.... First place gets $441.38. That would be a fun way to all but win this contest :D

Talking Poker 06-24-05 10:56 PM

BTW, these freerolls were sessions 3 and 4 for me. 3 was 35ish hands. This one is 228 and counting.

I just lost a 53,000+ chip pot when I called an all in with a nut flush draw and overs. I didn't quite have the math to do it, but it was really close, so I went for it. That would have been nice.

Now I'm down to 23k (average stack is 25k). Guaranteed $10.02! Wooohoooo!

Talking Poker 06-25-05 12:08 AM

And I'm out. I admit I got a little bit impatient. Pushed with 66, got calls from 88 AND 99 and they BOTH made their sets on me after a 789 flop. No straight for me, of course......

I'm on your waiting list... but you're sitting out, and I don't really feel like playing any more tonight anyway. Another time.

Talking Poker 06-25-05 11:46 AM

26 hands played and counting. 0 wins. Reloading for $5 more.

I don't know how you people can tolerate these tables. The stuff I'm seeing is insane.

BlibbityBlabbity 06-25-05 12:59 PM

Yeah, at some point you have to balance those horribly bad hands where your flopped set of Aces is beat by not one but two players (of the six calling/raising to the river) with a rivered sucker straight......WITH, the flopped full house with six callers capped through the whole hand (semi-bluffing their flush/straight draws, you know) to make their flush AND straight and pay you off with a HUGE pot.

Welcome to the wild world of Micro-limits...

Talking Poker 06-25-05 01:06 PM

Apparently, there is no actualy logic used when playing limit poker for these stakes. I honestly can't even believe some of the things I am seeing. I'd post some, but I wouldn't even know where to start.

This will likely be my final session at these stakes. At least with NL, I'd have a chance to punish these morons...
