That was a great play by Noah. I've heard people now calling this the greatest playoff series in NBA history... really? Discuss.

sil3ntq 05-01-09 04:27 PM

ok maybe not the greatest playoff series in history... but definitely one of the best first round series in history. especially since it's between a 2 n 7 seed. its been a very exciting series, overtime after overtime... very entertaining. hopefully bulls can pull it off in game 7 =]

Fildy 05-01-09 07:15 PM

Look for the kid from OSU to come up big tonight. Beasley is amazing and Wade is going to need help tonight.

sil3ntq 05-01-09 07:37 PM

heat will win tonite... but i think the hawks will win game 7... but i rather see the heat win in 7 so we can see lebron vs wade.

Kurn 05-01-09 07:55 PM

Celtics should've closed it out in regulation. Then came Tony Allen time .

With all the talk of the players on this year's team who are out, few are mentioning how much they miss James Posey right now.

sjay2k 05-02-09 07:33 AM

Mavs > Rockets in WCF!!!!!!!

lightfungus 05-03-09 01:18 AM

Coulda told everyone last year that was gonna bite you in the ass. Learning the same lesson the Heat did.

Re: Best series ever...
Abso-fuckin-lootly not. Bulls play shitty defense, as the Celtics are guilty of too, and the whole series was a game of horse. For fuck sakes, how many times did Ray Allen get open, AT THE END OF THE GAME. This was two mediocre teams playing a glorified series of pickup games.

The Hawks are my boys, and I am so excited that we might get to the second round, but please God don't make me watch their offense again next year. Fire Mike Woodson and lets move on. Even though I have never drawn up a basketball play in my life, I felt like I was qualified watching them play. It's turrible. And Barkley says it EVERY time they cover them, for good reason. I'm scared of what would happen to Atlanta if we play the Cavs. Either we figure out a way to run constantly, or it is going to get ugly. Fast. Anyone catch that the Heat were upset that JSmoove tried a dunk in a blowout game? QQ more please. Shut the fuck up and be in the game so you don't get dunked on. Not to mention, 30 out of 40k fans show up to NBA games to see dunks....seriously, people are such boohooers these days. Put up or shut up.

I do love the playoffs, and I can't wait to see the Nuggets vs. the Lakers.

sil3ntq 05-03-09 02:03 AM

i wish the bulls won game 7 -_-
i dno who to root for now

sil3ntq 05-05-09 02:05 AM

I'm so happy the lakers lost tonight. :)

sjay2k 05-05-09 08:29 AM

just bought a yao jersey

jaeh00d 05-06-09 10:12 AM

it will make me so happy to see the magic crush the celtics tonight.

lightfungus 05-07-09 12:46 AM

How'd that work out for you?

Kurn 05-09-09 12:24 AM

Regardless of how these playoffs end up, Rondo's gorilla slam over Dwight Howard will have me smiling all spring. :D

Almost as much as in the finals last year when Pau Gasol had to change an 8 ft jumper to a pass because Rondo was going to put it back in his face.

Can Chris Paul do either of those things? The only thing Chris Paul does better than Rondo is shoot. In fact, would Chris Paul have the stones to clothesline "Slimy" Miller?

sil3ntq 05-09-09 12:53 AM

anyone know why the denver dallas series had such a big break between game 2 n 3? game 2 was tuesday, may 5... game 3 is saturday, may 9.

jillaj 05-09-09 10:18 PM

He would of punched him in the nuts. Also you most likely shoot better than Rondo.

lightfungus 05-09-09 10:29 PM

That DEN/DAL game was bullshit. What self respecting professional referee isn't expecting a team to foul in that situation? So not only did they miss the call, they weren't prepared for what happens 80% of the time in that situation. I mean why they hell do you think a defender watches someone take a shot at the end of the game? OH...maybe because he slapped the wrist hard enough that his guy fumbles the ball...gonna cost me money now because the refs fucked it up.

thrash1294 05-09-09 10:54 PM

OH well nice season Hawks:cheers:

Kurn 05-10-09 12:34 AM

I certainly have better technique. ;)

sil3ntq 05-17-09 12:56 AM

Which teams win game 7 tomorrow?

Hopefully Rockets and Magic.

Fildy 05-17-09 01:20 AM

I hope the rockets and Celtics win. easier road for the cavs. But i think Lakers and Celtics will pull it out at home.

sil3ntq 05-20-09 12:12 AM

-_-... the lakers did it again... pretty pissed off

sil3ntq 05-22-09 12:03 AM

yesss =]

im so happy the nuggets pulled it out in game2... now i can sleep tonite =D

Wes 05-22-09 02:35 AM

is like six blatant missed/terrible officiating calls per game standard in NBA playoffs?

Kurn 05-22-09 07:29 AM

Pretty much. To the Refs' defense, it is the most problematic game to officiate. Moves too fast in a confined space, even with 3 refs they can't be looking everywhere all the time.

The hardest call in all of sports is block/charge.

lightfungus 05-22-09 10:13 AM

It would even be difficult if they stopped play for every potential block/charge and used instant replay.
