Zybomb 04-24-05 08:31 PM

11 players, only two of us left, i was in decent shape, till i doubled up a small stack with AQ vs 99, put me toward the bottom... gunna have to grind this out....

Zybomb 04-24-05 08:38 PM

short stack, i push in with 6s, of course he has queens......only one of us left now... one of my worst finishes in a while... guy who knocked me out i could of knocked out on that flip too! Oh well, next time...

Zybomb 04-24-05 08:48 PM

heres the hand that knocked me from the chip leader position, before the coin flip knocked me to one of the short stacks

Third heart hitting saved me from doubling him up probably...I might of played this too passive both on the flop and on the turn, but here it wouldnt of mattered, as he was in regardless.

Oh well...

Tony Cheval 04-24-05 08:48 PM

The ironic thing about kirk's hand is, I went out on the previous hand with...AK. :D

kkirk1329 04-24-05 08:50 PM

gotta love 2 outers tho lol

Talking Poker 04-24-05 09:41 PM

He was actually slightly ahead when all the money went in though (which is when counts)... keep that in mind.

kkirk1329 04-24-05 09:44 PM

oh i know that and i dont blame him at all for calling, i didnt say anything when the hand was over, the best hand pre flop ended up winning

Tony Cheval 04-24-05 09:53 PM

Heh, I thought RiverStars was gonna give me the wheel there, but that was last week's routine. :D

Aequitas58 04-25-05 12:23 AM

Prolly not. Sundays are no good for me.

Hope you guys did well!

GeoffM 04-25-05 08:25 AM

How did omahilo do?

I railed him for a bit last night, he was last one left, 4 out of 9.

Talking Poker 04-25-05 10:41 AM

The ugly results...

1: captcrunch (Ace10.com), $90.00 (50%)
2: Casper911 (Ace10.com), $54.00 (30%)
3: Mr.Thumb (ace10.com), $36.00 (20%)
4: TennVOL (Ace10.com),
5: stilt73 (Ace10.com),
6: Demonstalker (Tiffin),
7: spawn79 (Ace10.com),
8: fallguy1 (Ace10.com),
9: ButterBaby1 (Ace10.com)

omahilo 04-25-05 11:19 AM

I finished 6th... was up to about 3,500 but just couldnt get anything going after that.

The blind structure on PS doesnt help when you have 3,000 in chips and 200/400 blinds and a raise is over 1/4 of your stack.

had 89s on the CO and raised it up... button had QQ and raised me allin... I only had like 600 left so I just hoped he had AK/AQ but he didnt lol, oh well.

Thats why I like UB or FTP, at that point in the tourney the blinds would be like 75/150 and have tons of room to push your chips around.

Aequitas58 04-25-05 11:24 AM

Sitting at a table full of players from another board, I think it would be VERY hard to actually win.

Aequitas58 04-25-05 11:25 AM

How many total entrants? How many from TP?

omahilo 04-25-05 11:28 AM

We only had 5 I believe...

Me, Pshabi, Tony, Kirk, and Zybomb.

Aequitas58 04-25-05 01:10 PM

Sundays aren't too good for me. Right now, I'm in a routine w/ school where Sundays are my day to relax w/ my gf, sit around, drink coffee, watch TV or movies, make dinner together, etc.

The good thing is... this week is my last week of school. FOREVER! Maybe things will change after this weekend - I expect to have more free time, so that might free up these Sunday afternoons.

FYI: I do have money on Stars which I put there specifically for TP tournaments... so, I'm ready to go.

BrianSwa 04-25-05 02:46 PM

yep

one of these days I will play with you guys, seems like much fun. No idea when though cant spend money for a long while. I miss like 2-3 days of work every week taking care of Gavin so money is beyond tight right now.
