I doubt anyone will be able to build up to $500. I may take a stab at this later on this month, but for now I am taking a week off (aside from playing some raked at Party for the points).

Anyway, I was going to suggest, you guys should have played split pot games. First, your bankroll will almost always increase, and secondly when you scoop a pot in O8 it's almost like winning an all-in on a hold'em table.

Go for it. If you are playing raked hands at Party, why not sit with $25 or less and count the hands toward this?

I have 95 cents left...
onto the .05/.10 limit table until I get enough for NL then all in or bust.

I plan on it, just haven't been playing much poker the last week or so due to prior engagements.

Again though, I doubt anyone here will be able to build to $500 within a month on $25, but I guess that is part of the challenge.

I disagree. I think it's very doable. I don't have the discipline to do it right, but I know there are people here who do.

Check out Chip on the comeback trail! I should have done the same thing when I was down to 3 bucks, rather than pushing my stack in and losing to running spades.

I built $25 into $2,000 in about a month....of course I got very lucky and nothing had to do with good play but It is doable. I will start mine later tonight right now in to many tornies at jetset.

Not sure where im gonna play though will keep you all informed.

Only had about 45 minutes to play on my lunch hour. :D

Oh what could have been during this session... only played 37 hands and got dealt A-A twice, K-K once and Q-Q once. :eek: First time with the As I got busted by a set after a pot size raise pre-flop, thankfully the guy was just about out of $$ so I only lost $4.25 on that hand. Next time with the As (and same with the Qs) I make a pot size pre-flop raise and get no callers. With the Ks I get one caller who promptly folds after the flop (net = $1.10). So, with those four starting hands I lost $2.45. :rolleyes: My best hand came when I held KJo and hit a set of Js on the flop... netted $7.55.

By the way, there's no chance I'll be able to play enough hands to come close in this contest, but thought it would be fun to come along for the ride!

TP, you're right. I can't see myself getting this amount because I would have soooo much sitting around and I would just get plain bored.
