I know PT is intimidating at first, but log off of TalkingPoker, and load up the PokerTracker forums. () I guarantee you will find all of your answers over there.

nope

I dont have pokerstars anywere on my pokertracker ring games is there a patch for it?

BrianSwa 08-01-05 02:09 PM

yea

I also have those forums open also.

PShabi 08-01-05 02:23 PM

I read it somewhere. Anyway for Stars:

First go to Stars itself. You have to go to "options" and select the "instant hand history" option.

Select "save hand histories" and pick the folder you want them to go to.

Now, on PT, go to Auto-import hand histories (lightning bolt icon) set it up to read from that file you picked them to be stored in and start playing.

BrianSwa 08-01-05 02:31 PM

ok

the lightning bolt only does something if you already have hand histories stored. I thought pokertracker got your HH while you played. Dont have any handhistories stored so cant use the lightning bolt.

BrianSwa 08-01-05 02:33 PM

ugh

this is way too much work almost thinking a pen and paper sound like a better idea.

PShabi 08-01-05 02:37 PM

Okay, do what I said, except play a few hands before3 the lightning bolt part.

BrianSwa 08-01-05 02:49 PM

K

its importing but no new hands are comming up but that might be because I used up all my free hands.

so let me see if I got this right, the poker site sends the HH to your hardrive the Poker tracker get them from that file and puts them on pokertracker?

PShabi 08-01-05 03:01 PM

yeah

PShabi 08-01-05 03:04 PM

Actually, I believe a pop up came and told me when this happened.

BrianSwa 08-01-05 03:14 PM

soooo

so when you set your timer thats is how often pokertracker checks that folder for new hands.....interesting.

PShabi 08-01-05 03:24 PM

aaaannnnnd

when you click the little "x" in the top right corner the program closes!!!!

Wicked!!!!!!!!!!!!

Talking Poker 08-01-05 04:35 PM

For the love of God Brian...

Play with it. Figure it out. If you have problems, look in the PT (not TP, but PT) forums. If you can't find your answer, post a question there. If you still dont' get an answer, contact PT support - as has been stated, the guy is great.

I just don't see the sense in us recreating the poker tracker forums here for every little question you have, when they have all been answered there already (not to mention in the help files that you refuse to read for some reason).

I know the morality thing has already been discussed but I found the guide to be really useful. I think it's $20 regularly.
