forget it

lol forget it I guess you really dont know how pot odds work, read a book then come back and talk to me 7-2 has good pot odds all in pre-flop?

What has the concept of pot odds got to do with implied tilt odds?

Unfortunately, the person doing the "I'm only showing you one card at showdown!" thing is more than likely the bettor, or the first to act/check after the dealer. It's pretty even, and the behavior encourages the behavior. If one person does it, the other person does it.

If the second person in the showdown wants to fold, why show any? The tilt-monger and the bad player were two separate instances.

Yeah! I'm kinda of the school that if people have no idea what you're talking about, they can't get a read on you. I'd rather be wacky than be from the whole "the less you say..." school of thought. I'd rather be myself.

The only real time I critique play is when I'm shocked what a sad hand won the showdown and I folded something better. It's more an ejaculation of surprise than a critique. I try not to be actively assholish unless somebody demands it.

Just to clarify: The "I'm Annie Duke in the TOC!" person, showing one card after fold is one specific guy. Annoying and lame.

The person showing one card after getting called on the river is a few different people. Show both or get out. Someone paid for that information.

ok

In that case tell him to flip that card over and stop trying to act special.

BrianSwa 12-01-04 06:37 PM
