Marsha, Marsha, Marsha...all about Marsha! ;)

(Guess where this line is from.)

Talking Poker 04-09-06 04:40 PM

Yes, but if he wins $20, he might feel a little better.

bunny: Are you kidding? Is there anyone on earth who doesn't know that reference???

bunny 04-09-06 04:45 PM

The yunguns.

Not most men watch that show, do they?

Talking Poker 04-09-06 05:04 PM

Most men were children at one time, yes?

bunny 04-09-06 05:10 PM

Okay.. funny duddy. ;)

Akverno 04-09-06 06:40 PM

Not to mention they made two movies from the Brady Bunch just filled with sexual inuendo in the mid nineties.

Reel Deal 04-15-06 04:56 PM

It's really not... I just got back from a great vacation with the kids over in the panhandle (great weather, great beaches, great seafood and lots of Red Stripe). I'm happy for JD and anyone else here that does well... just hope they're smart with their money. I guess one of the benefits of being old is being responsible with my money. I could be irresponsible and dump a bunch of cash into my on-line accounts but that's just not me (although at least it would keep TP from giving me shit for playing at the $50NL tables). I'm happy to make my money away from the tables and have poker as a hobby. And, I'll always hope that this place spawns more and more JDs.

Talking Poker 04-15-06 04:59 PM

I don't give you shit! I simply pointed out that losing a $1400 pot to a 2 outer (for example) can sting a bit worse than losing a $14 pot to a 10 outer. Something like that, anyway. I don't remember exactly. :o

Reel Deal 04-15-06 05:19 PM

If you want to see something that stings I'll send you a copy of the tax return I have to submit on Monday. :p :D

Talking Poker 04-15-06 05:34 PM

I'd be willing to make a friendly wager that the check I wrote to Uncle Sam recently probably stung worse. Maybe not, as I withheld AND made estimated payments throughout last year, but my poker winnings kicked my freaking ass on my tax return this year. I guess that's a good problem to have, but still...

Teach me O' Master Jedi

PLEASE! How many tables you play anyways?

Ando05 04-15-06 09:25 PM

wait a minute do u have to pay taxes for the poker winnings too?

Talking Poker 04-16-06 12:46 AM

LOL. Please tell me you're not from the United States. Or that you are at least AWARE that you are cheating on your taxes by not reporting all of your earned income.

I mean, there's not really an American out there than thinks you get to (legally) pick and choose what to pay taxes on, right?

Tony Cheval 04-16-06 01:26 AM

...

You slipped in that '(legally)' at the last moment while giggling like a schoolgirl, didn't you?

Reel Deal 04-16-06 09:53 AM

There's a contest I'd hope not to win!
