So I saw on the site that it said "StatTracker" was an addon. The live stats on the team page "might" not be part of that. I hope not at least....

The live stats are sweet, I hope they keep them.

Sorry fellas, after being dissapointed last year with not even realizing the live stats weren't standard, I am here to tell you they are gone after week one. The way yahoo updates there system is usually around midnight PST Sunday night, then they add the monday night game Monday at midnight and finish off the week then. SOOOoooo, unless you are willing to pay 9.99 (up from 7.99 last year) there will be no live stats after monday. And I was hoping the commish could pay the 9.99 and get it for the league but nope just for one person.

Thats the only downfall about yahoo fantasy stuff, espn and nfl have live stats i believe but i kinda like yahoos setup. Im in 5 leagues so Ill let you know my final opinion on the different fantasy sites if anyone cares.

Eh, it's not a big deal, when I'm watching the pigskin I normally do so without the computer in my face anyway.

I'm new to fantasy football, a few questions. It looks like you still get points for players that are on the bench. Is that true? If so, what is the point of changing a player from the bench to starter? Do you get more value for the starter stats than the bench stats?

You don't get points for players on the beach. You have to start them.

I just noticed that. It still tells me the points I would've gotten. Shoulda started Larry Johnson. I didn't think he'd be getting much playing time. Ah well...

Stover was off his game today. Scott Norwoodesque performance, althought this was the first game of the season, not the Super Bowl. I just released Olindo Mare if you want him. I debated on keeping him over Jason Hanson but I don't see the Dolphins putting up even half of 34pts a game for the season. Can't really say the Lions convinced me they will either, but they have so much talent I can't give up on them.

I picked up the Indianapolis defense to substitute for my sorry ass Houston defense. Why I drafted Houston, I don't know. Colts D looked impressive today, although they were playing against the weak ass Raven offense(except Jamal most games).

I've officially lost this week. No players on ATL or PHI for me. My starting receivers did nothing for me this week except for Rod Smith. My benched receivers (Burress, and Galloway) did decent. Oh yeah, Curtis Martin was a bitch for me as well, I woulda started Larry Johnson if I knew he was going to share duties with Priest Holmes. That's what I get for not doing my research, heh. I admit that it's easy to say that after watching him gain 110 yds. and two TD's on nine freakin carries. :eek: The Chiefs are my team though so I should've benched Martin on principle. This league is fun, gracias for hooking it up Aeq.

BTW. There are two games next Monday night. Hurricane Katrina telethon deal. That is muy bueno. They should have two games every Monday night. :D

Speaking of that I signed a new defense and released the defense the computer drafted for me, thought it would automatically start the new defense since it was the only one on the roster... wrong. Still won though. :D

Yeah, but who would have thought they're doing well mainly because of their defense? Scary thing (for the rest of us in the AFC South) is you know that offense is going to start clicking sooner or later... they'll be very tough to beat when that happens.

Peyton is not doing too well. He'll come around sooner or later, he is too good not to. I'm loving my 10th round steal of a pick, better known as Carson Palmer. What a season this guy is having so far. He's the real deal. Palmer and Chad Johnson are the next Montana/Rice, Manning/Harrison. I picked up the Colts defense after week one and that's turning out to be a great move. My Larry Johnson for Carnell "Cadillac" Willams deal is looking like a good move as well. We shall see.

That is true. I always think of Montana/Rice, but Young/Rice was the best. I think Manning/Harrison passed them up though.
