LOL at Technologic 'Sup Bro'ing MSNL during his interview with Gordon. All the dweebs at 2p2 are creaming their pants.
holy crap i just got here... thought i was gonna be listening to a radio but its actually live TV, awesome stuff dude.
Works like a charm
As of 10:35 p.m. Wouldn't want to be an ESPN web producer right now. Awesome find. Thanks.
this is so sick
It's funny - I thought watching this wouldn't be that interesting, but it's pretty great. I guess when I first heard about it, I wasn't expecting the good commentary and though it would be like when you are railbirding live (which sucks). This is quite entertaining. I'm gonna stay up for a while...
Does AC stand to win Full Tilt's extra 10 mill? That'd be a sick payday.
Just chiming in with the redundant "This is freakin sweet."
Did Cunningham have a straight there? They thought so but I thought he said "I got a ten" |
I hope Jamie Gold wins, because all the donkeys will start to love that moronic limp/reraise.
I'm honestly torn between wanting Cunningham to win it vs. having another amateur champion. Every year that it looks like "anybody can win" is good for us. Although it doesn't really sound like there's anything close to a Moneymaker-type story going.
I don't think he qualified on Full Tilt (I remember hearing when their last qualifier was busted on Monday or so), so I don't think he's eligible. But don't worry, if he does win, I'm confident Full Tilt will take care of him quite nicely.
You know, on top of his $12 million payday, which would TRIPLE his already impressive $6 million in career tourney earnings. |
Whoops... There's a T on the turn. I guess I tpyed a bit too soon. :o Well, it's ABOUT TIME he gets sucked out on. |
jamie gold is annoying i hope he loses.
i want cunningham to win - but maybe its better for poker if an unknown wins - but it probably doesnt matter. |
Nah..... it would be just fine for poker for Cunningham to win. He'll make a good champion too - FAR better than Gold would, IMO.
Whoa, whoa, whoa
Jamie's crying!
Gold after getting sucked out on:
"How much better can I play?" as he shakes his head. Give me a break. He seems to be playing well and not really making any mistakes. But come on. Does he not realize his good fortune in ALWAYS coming out with the best hand? I'm definitely not just gonna call the guy a lucksack. He seems to be very solid, but he's gotta recognize the good fortune he's had. Edit: Lol. Looks like everybody beat me to it. |
BTW, how crazy do the fans/friend/family go in the background??? It's insane.
why arent any of these players really nervous?
i rarely get nervous but i have to imagine i would be playing for millions at a live televised table. |
That's my boy! Colorado represent!
You'd be surprised. After you are playing for a while (for me, it's a matter of minutes - 20 at the most), everything else just goes away and it just becomes poker. And CERTAINLY after nearly two WEEKS of playing, you get used to it. You'd be fine, I'm sure.
Man, this is gonna be a long night, huh? |
Probably because they have already locked up $3Million+.
i just decided i really hope cunningham wins. hes an awesome, nice, quite guy, but hes not as popular as all the guys he grew up with and played with like DN and dutch boyd and all them.
wow, they just predicted FT lasts 6 and a half hours more. |
That sounds about right to me... I was thinking about a 8 or 9 AM ET end time.
BTW, Boyd is and never was associated with Cunningham/Negreanu/Juanda/Ivey/etc... |
ya im an idiot, couldnt think of who that group was. anyway, u get my point.
EDIT: i think i hate jamie gold. |
Agreed
Paul Wasicka is also the last player left who has pledged 1% of his winnings for cancer research or whatever charity it is.
im pretty sure i read something about cunningham doing alot for charity- he's prob doing more than 1%
he sure does
to the AHA and BCR |
Argh, Paul is playing like a chump now.
Too bad he's also the worst player left.
He's making a good case for that distinction right now.
he plays 10/20nl 6 max and is apparently pretty bad? i dont know him tho so who knows.
Anybody that open limps on the button as much as he does in a tournament is not very good.
They make an interesting point about the affect of the blind structure (and incidently the amount of chips in play) on the play here compared to tournaments like the WPT.
AC turnin it up!
AC is walking over these guys with CB after CB when these guys are limping under the gun and off the button...
wtf |
You can say that again. This is a play I just don't get, and I prey on whenever I see it. The guy to my right during the Main Event was the weakest player at the table, and he gave me quite a few chips (after I got short) by limping on the button after it had been folded to him again and again. I just don't get it - especially with deep stacks like these guys have.
The WPT has a decent structure until the final table. Then they figure out the average stack, give him 40ish BBs, and then the blinds double with every increase. That way, they get al all in fest, which I guess makes for the best tv. I hate it.
I think I may go get some sleep... these guys will still be playing when I get up. :)
The Mouth just made a bet with Espisito? (internet player something something) about the end of the tourney.
2:1 with the end of the tourney being 6am. Mike taking the over. |
Tp!
Wait man, don't you want some of Mike The Mouth's action on the over/under? :D
for looking and being so clam, alan cunningham sure twitches alot when hes in a hand.
He twitched a lot when he's not in a hand too... He's twitchy. Don't read into it.
Nah... but I do want to play RoShamBo with Phil Gordon for $100. Seriously. I love that game.
Hey, my boy Robert Williamson III is on... He's as cool as they come. |
Big hand. I'm tired.
AC bet, Gold raised, AC moved in..... good stuff. I think AC must have had a whopper there. |
ill bet anyone that cunningham wins and hes in last place.
Good job on that check in the dark, re-raise there, Chet.
51 mil
13.5 mil 12.8 mil 12.1 mil You can't lose that... |
I'd take that bet if I didn't want him to win... I mean, he's got a lot of work head of him. He is without a doubt the best player at the table, but still...
