well the variance in poker is crazy, its insane how bad im running
and i guess i tilted some cuz i played Horrible tonight.

the combination of the two cost me another awesome 3,200

overall: 8200.
cant beleive im still 100 ahead.

im pissed i dn what is goin on.
tomorrow my classes are done at freakin 9:50.
i might have to try to remember how to win.

You've already made over 2 and half times this year what an average person makes all year.... you have nothing to lose. You're playing 10/20, there's goin to be varience...

im just not used to some of the variance at 10/20 i guess. oh well.

why do i play tournaments?
sick how i just made more in 25 min 3 tabling 5/10 at bodog than i did from the LONGASS tourny.
def. the fastest ive ever built my stack up to 5k at a 5/10 table. - i ran kinda good - nothing extreme -ppl were Handing me $. insane

too bad i started the day off by wakin up and playing 10/20 in a much more hungover state than i thought - dropping 4k in about 15 min. - pushing river bluffs both times.
huge party foul.
i also woke up to realize i lost my clothes and phone at the toga party - later, luckily friends found both at 2 seperate places. except they decided to look thru the pics on the phone with some revealing pics of the GF. lol kinda sucky. no big deal - except they all sent the pics to their phones. lol idiots.

anyway.

today was one of the sickest days i can remember - either being cold decked or losing QQ to ATo all in for 5k pot. i seriously could Not win a big hand. all day i just got sucked out on.
i played 1 hand horrible for 1k as well when i kinda tilted and right after i quit. but the rest i dont think i could have done anything different.

poker can be so sick. its all about getting through it though. hell im still ahead of schedul somehow.

all bodog so i have no clue.
not very many tho honestly. being i keep playing 10/20 9 handed since thats all they offer on bodog.

See, I don't get that.... Why not play 6 max 5/10 (or 10/20 if you really must) at Party or FullTilt, where you can use PT to track everything and get RB, while playing with better software too? Are the players at Bodog really that much worse to make up for everything it's lacking? IMO, they can't be.

Wow. Guess I'll have to give it a whirl sometime. That flat out floors me.

I wonder if the lower levels (I've been playing 6 max 3/6 NL) are significantly worse too. The only explanation I can think of if that a lot of these players are sports betters from Bodog giving poker a whirl... I'll bet that's it.

I know it's a pitiful sample size, but I played 3 10+1 SnGs today.

Results: 1 1st, 1 2nd, and 1 4th (stupid river 3 outa).

The way I've been running lately...you work it out. :p

Trust me when I say that Bodog 3/6 6max plays like .5/1 and 1/2 everywhere else.

ya i played, im an idiot.
i am Running Horrible. i seriously did not tilt once today, but played too much 10/20 which killed me. Esp this crazy pot at bodog i managed to lose:

10/20 NL, i raise to 100 with AJ suited spades.

3 callers. KT8 flop ALL SPADES - nut flush for me.
A leads for 400. B raises all in 3k. C calls 2k. I call 3k. A folds.

turn blank, river 8. B had TT, C had KK, and my nut flush is killed. (9k pot)

later i lost set over set, and A2 lost to 67 on 345 flop. i suck.

this has to be my 2 worst days ever in a row.

i went on to talk to 2 guys i know who play 10/20 exclusively. both understood how much it sucked, esp since i just moved up, but said its more common than you would think. i mean i guess with that many aggro ppl at this high stakes its pretty hard to avoid the sick variance that comes with it. however, im pretty sure i caught a sick string of variance to start off (first being really positive and now really negative).

anyway. it sucks. im ready for a break. doing good in a wcoop event would sure turn things around :). but cant plan on that. I still think I can make the goal, but damn it looked like i was going to completely destroy it.
