Damn!
90 left now, which means Wes just guaranteed himself another $10k. Too cool.
And what a lame move by Esfandiari. I’m so hoping Wes busts him. See you boys in November! |
Best... TP.com party.... ever!!!!!
And I agree, please bust Antonio for that crap. |
You guys willing to party with a 20 year old? If so I'll be there. Hahaha.
we start the carivan from my house!!!!!!!
WTF is this on the prize pool page, with no comment from the new feed?
88 $ 57,991 Wesley Ismay Please be a typo. |
... No way.
Nah its true, :-(
Esfandiari Busts Ismay Antonio Esfandiari raised preflop and then called a reraise from Wesley Ismay. The flop came down {7-Spades} {5-Hearts} {5-Clubs} and Esfandiari bet 400,000. Ismay called. The turn was the {K-Hearts} and Esfandiari led for 700,000. Ismay moved all in for over two million total. Esfandiari made the call. Esfandiari tabled {A-Spades} {K-Clubs} and Ismay held just queen high with {Q-?} {9-?}. The river was the {6-Spades} and Ismay was sent to the rail. Esfandiari now has a little over 5.6 million chips. |
Fucking whore.
what the fuck?
Great run
Tough ending, but a great showing none the less. I'll be very interested to hear his take on the whole thing.
Fuck.
Such a gross finish too. I mean, that play is going to work there like 95% of the time. What's Antonio going to call with? EXACTLY AK or 77 (or I suppose AA). Anything else, he's folding.
gg Wes :(
Anyone reading what these monkeys are saying on the Live News thread right now?
Fucking oblivious morons. |
GG wes.
Wow, what a ride. GG man.
yeah i am sure the last hand makes me look like a complete donk but i still like it. i was thinking that there was around 12 card combos that he could have that could call there and his donking range is pretty perplexing which i would think would have enough aq and aj hands in his range to justify it shoving. of course i could have folded preflop, but where is the fun in that?
qft.
great run, sir. |
Good finish Wes.
I only have 1 person left to root for now, so TP members can join me. Luis Nargentino 3.2 mill right now |
just wanted to say that esfandiari didnt fake call on that 244aa board. he just counted out his chips then said he pretty much had to call before folding. my table was really tough all day, easily the toughest table there imo
Wow very impressive :)
Great job, Wes. Get 'em next year.
Nicely done Wes. Money for you, excitement for us.
Great job Wes!
GG Wes. Great run.
What a great run! A lot of us run good on here in online tourneys and online cash games and such but it takes a different level of stamina to sit and stay focused on ONE table for 10+ hours a day
Especially for a guy who hates live poker. ;)
Your the man!!!
Moves out of North and/or South Dakota, hasn't let Fildy drive his car in months, hasn't pee'd his pants recently (as far as we know), has a speaking part in a riveting documentary, makes a deep run in the WSOP Main Event and is likely to be freerolling hookers for the foreseeable future. Things are definitely looking up for Wosley.
Great run Wes. Was fun rooting for ya.
