OMG! Too funny. I'd have just about died if that had of happened to me. At least he's cool about it. He seems like one of those guys that really has FUN playing poker but also gets steamed on occasion. From what you write here and what he writes on his blog, he also seems incredibly versed at a) barely showing it and b) shrugging it off almost immediately and getting back on track.

Wait-a-minute - there was more to the weekend than Isabelle??? :D

Here's a pic from my shark dive.

Sweet, eh?

Zybomb 01-17-06 12:18 AM

hahahahahahahaha

you look like your the guide for some show on the discovery channel

Talking Poker 01-17-06 12:19 AM

Sharks rule, man.

MAYHEM45 01-17-06 12:23 AM

That pic made me LOL. The look on your face is priceless.

But when you're a Jet, you're always a Jet!

Nothing special about that look. That's just my scuba face.

Edit: If you want something to laugh about, check out THIS look.... :D

Talking Poker 01-17-06 12:58 AM

Despite how it might look (especially in that last pic, which I really like), I wasn't a tad bit nervous. I was freezing my nuts off, yes, but I wasn't scared at all. Just trying to remember to keep my hands tucked in (as instructed), so I wouldn't end up with an unexpected chomp.

JDMcNugent7 01-17-06 07:22 PM

thats awesome, I'd probably piss my pants - and then the sharks would prob get pissed and kill me

BJ finally sent me this pic. I know I look like a tool, but cut me some slack - it was a long day, and I was just lounging around in the lobby. This was taken at like 2 or 3 AM, I think.

Isabelle and I were sitting with our legs crossed in opposite directions when I noticed how TINY her feet were. We went foot to foot, and it was laughable. You can kinda tell in this pic, but believe me when I tell you - HUGE difference.

Talking Poker 01-21-06 01:21 AM

And yes, I know what they say about the size of a man's feet...

"Big feet.... big shoes."

eejit101 01-21-06 01:29 AM

Big shoes....Big socks....

i have size 12 feet. But yours have the uncomparable honour of touching hers. Id pay $10k for that man, fuck the poker:D

Gordogg 01-21-06 01:40 AM

Great pics and stories TP. Don't know if I could do the shark thing. They are cool, but I dunno. I love the Isabelle foot pic. How does she stand up with feet that small?

rookette22 01-21-06 01:41 AM

...Fake smile?

Talking Poker 01-21-06 02:28 AM

I wear a 12 as well.

$10k, huh? Damn, for that price, I'm sure I could have it arranged - maybe even BARE FOOT!

$5k for Isabelle, and $5k for me for arranging things. It's brilliant!

Talking Poker 01-21-06 02:30 AM

She wobbles a lot. LOL.... kidding. When you're 5'2" and weigh 100 pounds "soaking wet" (my quote), I guess you don't need size 12 clunkers to support you.

Mon Dieu - I weigh more than two Isabelles!

Talking Poker 01-21-06 02:31 AM

No... I'm just a photo retard. I think I missed class the day they taught how to smile for pictures in school. I was also in a weird position for the photo (I had to slide forward in my chair for our feet to line up our feet properly).

Hawt 01-21-06 03:05 AM

TP's game > My game

Dodoubled 01-21-06 09:13 AM

Is it me, TP, or is the front of your hat brim practically glowing? Extra Clorox?

Talking Poker 01-21-06 11:29 AM

They are reflective. You'd never know it unless you were outside at night (car lights) or someone took your pic with a flash.

Hawt 01-21-06 06:01 PM

When you mentioned you were going on a shark dive, I imagined like, in a cage. You have bigger balls than I do.

Talking Poker 01-21-06 07:31 PM

Cages are for scared little girls. Or Great Whites. :)

These were just Caribbean Reef Sharks. Pretty much hamrless. I mean, yeah, they COULD do damage if they wanted to, but they won't. Not unless you start flaining your arms around like an idiot, anyway...
