Booooooooobbbbbbbiiiiiiieeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reel Deal 07-11-09 05:19 PM

According to the updates , they are just about ITM... so assuming BL is still in it he's about to cash in the ME. Which would mean lots more drinking money and even better drunken blog posts! Woot.

lightfungus 07-11-09 06:04 PM

F yeah. This forum deserves the representation. Holler.

jdiana86 07-11-09 06:25 PM

don't mean to link away from tp.com but pokernews.com has tweeter updates from the pros

GTDawg 07-11-09 07:03 PM

Dude, if they make you film one of those lame "get to know me" things over the next few days...could you just go hogwild and do something so insane that they have to put it on TV?

I just want to hear Norman Chad have to repeat some ludicrous story about your life while Lon sits quietly and shakes his head.

Zybomb 07-11-09 07:49 PM

yea the updates at pokernews are the best imo, then pokerpages then wsop

We're officially ITM and Wes has over 600k btw, avg is just over 300k

Robbie Robb 07-11-09 07:54 PM

I just counted over at the official page and it's showing him tied for 55th at 605K.

Talking Poker 07-12-09 02:11 AM

I get the official reports. He's heading into Day 5 in 123rd place (out of 407 remaining) with 570k chips.

Zybomb 07-12-09 02:15 AM

407 remain after day 4

Average stack is just under 480k

Wes is still sitting above average at 570k

Edit: Obv TP beat me to this

New Guy 07-12-09 12:40 PM

Go wes!!!!!!!! Ill be in the room too!!! Make room boys!!!!

BlibbityBlabbity 07-12-09 01:21 PM

from PN:

(Table Green 150)
Seat 1: Josh Tieman - 238000
Seat 2: Dag Palouic - 586000
Seat 3: Scott Blackman - 584000
Seat 4: Saieva Maurizio - 412000
Seat 5: Jordan Smith - 502000
Seat 6: Wesley Ismay - 570000
Seat 7: Todd Hunter - 353000
Seat 8: Paul Baron - 202000
Seat 9: Keith Lehr - 1190000

Robbie Robb 07-12-09 04:09 PM

Hmm...Missed this from the other day:

Other notables include qualifier Adam York from Bristol, England, sitting with 265,000 while Vijayan Nagarajan, a long time EPT regular, has 240,000. Matt Wood from Ontario Canada is only slightly behind that on 220,000 with Wesley Ismay from Arizona behind him on 200,000.

Apparently Wes relocated from SD to AZ. Can't say I blame him really...

On their most recent entry from this morning they list him as a "Pokerstars Player" as well. It shows that he was a DBI (I'm guessing Direct Buy In) so I'm guessing that he's wearing PS colors.

Go Wes!!!

Zybomb 07-12-09 04:15 PM

Wes' city is still listed as Vale SD... he's listed as a PS player bc he qualified online at PS

Update he has 820k with 360 remaining

Robbie Robb 07-12-09 06:02 PM

Yeah, but I also saw one other reference to him residing in AZ. I forget where though. Did he qualify or did he use VPPs to buy-in? That would explain the "DBI" instead of "Online Qualifier"

melioris 07-12-09 06:38 PM

our favorite misanthrope resides in Arizona (scotsdale I think) these days. But who cares, 820K WOHOO

GOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGO

Robbie Robb 07-12-09 07:00 PM

QFTMFT!!! LOL

I should probably be keeping all my luck for myself (you know...for finding a job...lol) but I'm shipping it all his way!

Fildy 07-12-09 07:23 PM

Make that 1.5million, pokernews just updated.

Recent Eliminations

Todd Hunter was eliminated after running his pocket jacks into the pocket aces of Wesley Ismay. Ismay is now up to 1,500,000.

claudioxcore 07-12-09 07:38 PM

Lol.

Must be nice.

I hope to god he wins.

Invigilator 07-12-09 07:42 PM

Zybomb 07-12-09 09:02 PM

Wes down to 660k. Not sure of the hand(s) to cause this

Zybomb 07-12-09 09:23 PM

Wes up a little to 780k... 195 remaining 20 more eliminations to go tonight

Zybomb 07-12-09 10:16 PM

Play is done for the night, 185 players remain.... no update on Wes' stack yet, still listed as 780k but that is not updated yet

Invigilator 07-12-09 10:54 PM

Wow. What a day! Give 'er Wes!

Gordogg 07-12-09 11:04 PM

Fuckin go wes!!

Wes 07-12-09 11:10 PM

Got 773k to end the day. Had 1.4 mill at one point but everyone decided to play back at me every pot I enterred and I lost two flips for 700k or so, one of which this guy had no business being in the hand. I'll post hands when (if) I bust out.

I listed my location as in South Dakota, but when asked by the pokerstars guy looking for my update I said I was from Arizona. I currently live in Tempe, AZ.

Reel Deal 07-12-09 11:24 PM

If you bust out it will be no sooner than November. Take this shit down!!!

IzzySnipes9 07-12-09 11:27 PM

My bro is my hero!

I am driving out to Vegas tomorrow from Scottsdale to rail Wes. Vale, SD representing! :D

Talking Poker 07-12-09 11:31 PM

This is pretty bad ass.

I hate you for not selling me a piece.

But win anyway!!! GL GL GL!

Zybomb 07-13-09 03:28 AM

If you sit with Luis Nargentino aka "Chi Chi", that's my boy from here. He's at 655k at the end of today. I'll look for both of you at the FT this November take it down

Zybomb 07-13-09 04:09 AM

For anyone Interested here is Wes' Table Draw in Descending Chip Order

Jamie Robbins 2,251,000
Reed Hensel 2,091,000
Antonio Esfandiari 1,227,000
(Wes 770k)
Jose Rosenkrantz 630,000
Joey Lawrence 428,000
Cary Katz 335,000
Ludovic Lachance 302,000
Eric Cloutier 212,000

Considering the avg is just over 1 Mill, I think the draw is pretty decent. I don't recognize any of the names outside of obviously Esfandiari

GTDawg 07-13-09 08:22 AM

Robbie Robb 07-13-09 08:33 AM

I saw that name in one of the other lists I was reading and thought "Hmmm...could it be??? Nah..."

If it was him, I wonder if he'd do his signature "Woah" when coolered?

Invigilator 07-13-09 09:10 AM

Various player listings show a Joey Lawrence from Australia, with no results prior to 2009. If it were truly the Blossom star, there would likely be a trail of his presence in NA from earlier in the poker boom.

WOOAH!

Reel Deal 07-13-09 10:31 AM

Anyone know where the blinds are at heading into today?

melioris 07-13-09 11:11 AM

Nikita 07-13-09 11:48 AM

GL Wes!

Spidey44 07-13-09 12:09 PM

Nice work Wes! Keep it going!

Talking Poker 07-13-09 01:08 PM

Esfandiari, Rosenkrantz, and Cloutier are the guys I have heard of. I'm guessing the top two are online guys.

Agree though, pretty good table draw, all things considered.

Zybomb 07-13-09 03:10 PM

8000/16000 Ante: 2000

Zybomb 07-13-09 03:12 PM

Considering he couldve had this table draw

(Blue 16)
Seat 1: David Benyamine - 764,000
Seat 2: Alex Jalali - 505,000
Seat 3: Harry Kazazian - 501,000
Seat 4: Alex Prendes - 1,661,000
Seat 5: Billy McMahon - 515,000
Seat 6: Adam York - 572,000
Seat 7: Jordan Morgan - 1,202,000
Seat 8: Phil Ivey - 1,380,000

Id say so!

other strong tables include Elky, Fabrice Soulier and Joe Sebok at one table....
