Can't post graphs because pokergrapher doesn't work on my computer. Here's some pokertracker shots. Total:

Here's just stars midstakes.

Attachment 1592

Overall standard month. Take dumb shots at HU on FT and lose a bunch, and then grind grind grind on stars to become rich.

Oh yeah, next month I'm going to play 150k hands at 2/4+ on stars. Going to be best or worst month ever.

Talking Poker 07-31-07 09:16 AM

150k hands in one month? How many tables do you play at a time, and how many hours per day/days per week? Just wondeirng, since that's more than 10 times the number of hands I get in on a month where I feel like I played "a lot" - and I generally 4-6 table.

Nice month, btw.

sjay2k 07-31-07 10:13 AM

150k hands? storm? pretty sure he only played 87k

Talking Poker 07-31-07 11:00 AM

oh right

hahaha storm 150k hands next month, why???

here's my july graph

pretty sure JD's is going to blow everyone out of the water :)

Talking Poker 07-31-07 12:24 PM

Yeah, I have a feeling he is too.

I like threads like this. They inspire me to play more. I might not be as good as you guys or be able to have the same win rate, but I can win long term, and threads like this inspire me to play more.

I'd really like to play like 30-50k hands some month and see how I do, but I don't think I've ever even played 20k in a given month before.

You guys are also inspiring me to work on my HU game again... Right now, I'm playing exclusively 6 max, balling at 1/2 NL.

JDMcNugent7 07-31-07 01:08 PM

such a good month, play more hands!
with the kind of hourly we are making i seriously don't know how ppl don't play more, unless I'm just the least busy person ever. I still hang out w friends and go out and workout and do everything I want to do, I love poker cuz I can do anythign at anytime so I never miss anything while my friends often have to cuz of work, I dn how every1 doesn't play more.

150k on the other hand might be pushing the never go outside thing, but I guess if u multitable a ton u could do it and still have a life i dn.

Wes 07-31-07 01:12 PM

because i would like to become rich enough by the time i'm 23 that i don't have to work for the rest of my life

Reel Deal 07-31-07 01:18 PM

Quite a life you've carved out for yourself there junior, your parents must be so proud.

Zybomb 07-31-07 02:43 PM

Reel Deal 07-31-07 10:46 PM

I need to be up early tomorrow (for the third straight day - having the house painted), so no poker for me tonight.

Here are my numbers/graph for June.

Please note that other than donking around with you guys after our TP tourney that one night, every hand I played this month was at 1/2 NL. In hindsight, the decision I made was the best decision I could have made. I cashed out most of my online roll and moved down in limits. I had never even seriously played 1/2 NL before (a few hands here and there) - when I made the transition from limit, I moved straight to 2/4. All I can say, is my God, what a goldmine. Not only are there so many bad players to surround yourself with (there are always multiple good table to choose from), but since the stakes are so much lower than I was used to, getting sucked out on and losing a buy in or two or three was no big deal for me. I still don't think I'm much of a tilt monkey, but I will admit that I've been able to stay much more level headed, calm and collected at these levels.

In theory, if I ran exactly the same at higher limits, I could probably make more money - even factoring in better opponents. But for now, I'm happy right where I'm at. It's much less risky/stressful, and that's what my poker career needs right now. I'm not saying I'll never move back up, because I probably will... but for now, I'm happy being a 1/2 baller. I should have followed shabi's lead long ago.

OK, enough rambling. More graphing.

This is nothing compared to the big time guys here, but I'm still happy with these results. I ran especially well towards the beginning of the month, and pretty badly toward the end. Overall, I'd say I ran slightly above average for the month, which is about 10 times better than I was running earlier this year.

(And yes, I know this graph sucks, but my Poker Grapher is broken right now and I don't feel like messing with it)

Talking Poker 08-01-07 01:14 AM

Well, it's settled.

JD is a poker God.

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

HEwong 08-01-07 01:19 AM

holy shit. good job. lol

Talking Poker 08-01-07 01:20 AM

So, that's over $225k you are up since you were online broke 2 months ago.

What's the plan, JD? Are you going to cash out some or a lot or what? Are you going to buy yourself anything, ot maybe pay off your parents house for them? Pay off college in advance?

Are we going to have a sweet money added forum tourney? :)

Are you going to keep playing the same limits, or cash out a bunch and move down, or cash out nothing and move up?

Do you have any desire to be one of the 200/400 NL guys someday?

Enquiring minds want to know.

I really want Mike Matusow's :donkey ass to see that graph.

HEwong 08-01-07 01:22 AM

i wanna see Mike Matusow's graph lol

Ando05 08-01-07 02:55 AM

O M G!! WOWW That's just wayyyy to sick, wow JD if you were over 21 I bet we would see you at a lot of final tables at the WSOP lol, If a question pops up like who do you guys think will win the first wsop bracelet from this from, know that my vote is for JD:), that is sick man way to go, go buy yourself a nice house or something lol

sjay2k 08-01-07 04:04 AM

woooow
nice

makes me want to play more

Zybomb 08-01-07 06:29 AM

:eek: :eek::eek:

I want to commit suicide

do u realize u just made more this month than the average person does in 4 years?

HEwong 08-01-07 06:42 AM

lol i watched one of his tables earlier and he was up 9k at one table earlier today lol.

Talking Poker 08-01-07 08:42 AM

Don't get me wrong - JD is THE man. But dominating HU cash tables and winning WSOP bracelets are two very different things. There's no (well, very little) glory in dominating cash games, but poker players all know that's where the money is it. Tourneys are a way to pass the time, occasionally go for the huge score and get famous. Grinding out 75k cash hands a month online though = $$$$$.

Talking Poker 08-01-07 08:44 AM

Yeah, that happens with Mike Matusow sits with him for 15 minutes or so.

If JD kees this up, he's going to have his own batch of online groupies.

And their King I will be!

left68wing 08-01-07 09:07 AM

For some reason your last sentence made me LOL. Amazing month JD. Keep on grinding.

Reel Deal 08-01-07 10:23 AM

Very nice JD.

Spidey44 08-01-07 10:29 AM

That is some sweet action right there! Goodness. AND still in college. I was lucky to have 1k in my bank account at any one time during college. F'n sick. I can NOT imagine what I'd do with that kind of loot in school. Nice work.

JDMcNugent7 08-01-07 05:40 PM

BOLD

JDMcNugent7 08-01-07 11:29 PM

hmmm cursed for posting that graph -23k today!!!
25/50 is a sick game when u cant hit shit. only 5 BI's which happens everyday at 5/10, but losing that much $ tilts me so I'm gonna have to be careful and grind back.
I'm not worried at all, I just need to not tilt and I'll be fine. I find I tilt much easier after having alot of winning days in a row, cuz im not used to losing.

def shoulda quit @-10k.

HEwong 08-01-07 11:30 PM

find mike matusow lol.

Gordogg 08-02-07 12:14 AM

Hey JD can I borrow 6.50 for a sng? ;)
