last 2 days have been +25k, im finding ways to play more at college, i think next month im gonna make sure i get in alot more hands.

I think making a video would motivate you. :thumbsup: Come on, man - I spelled it all out . Just follow the instructions. I know you specialize in HU now, but I still think it would be cool to see you play and hear you think.

OK, my month is over for cash games now. I have the WCOOP Main Event tomorrow, and that's it.

Finished the month with a nice session today. I didn't play very many hands this month because of the cruise and the WCOOP and.... well... not really feeling like playing much, to be honest with you. Overall, I have to say I ran above average for the month (I certainly did today), despite AA and AKs being overall losers for me until today's session. I don't really think 18 BB/100 is sustainable though, so overall, I must have run well.

This for NLHE 6 max only. I also won about $1500, give or take, playing Triple Draw.

Anyone else going to share results? Don't let the first two's sick numbers intimidate you.

Can you post your 6 max PT stats sometime? Detals (position, etc)would be great, but I'm just curious to see where my main stats differ from yours the most.

This request is for everyone who plays 6 max, btw - not just Storm.

I didn't play too much this month, as you can tell, but it was still a decent month.

Do you guys recommend that I get Poker Tracker now, or should I wait up a little until a better program comes out?

I have only worked with PokerTracker, so I can't offer any comparisons, but it's going to pay for itself really quickly. I'd say get it.

You should have gotten PT a long time ago. There's just no excuse for anyone who claims to be a serious player (let alone a GOOD player) to not have PT.

I only claimed that I am a good player at tourneys, I also said in my previous post on my other thread that I need to work on my cash games so I was thinking that poker tracker would be something to start off with..

Btw thx I guess I'll go with it and buy it, I know it will help out my cash game a lot!!

Another question for you:

From hand 13k through 33k or so, what was the deal? Were you playing poorly (as compared to your usual), running poorly, experimenting with a new style, playing a new game (HU instead of 6 max?) or what? Also, did anything change around Hand 33k?

I know variance can certainly explain breaking even or even losing for 20k hands, but damn.... that had to be driving you nuts.

FWIW... I actually find it really encouraging to see a graph that looks like the one you posted.

*I* only use PT for cash games, but you can certainly use it for tourneys too.

So what does that make someone who has had pokertracker for over 2 years, used it very briefly, and doesnt even have it setup on current computer????????????

I was a little frustrated, but what the graph doesn't show is the money I made cake, and all the money I made from cake was from that period where I wasn't winning on stars/tilt. And like 99% of it is HU, with the other 1% being failed shots at 25/50 on stars for a -10k.

On another note, I managed to dump 6k right after posting that graph. Argh.

ya, it's like 95% HU, and when i posted my graph for some dumbass reason i seriously thought the month was over. 2 days early somehow. ill post the final later tonight.

I love how you've had 6 figure months, but can't figure out how to work a computer well enough to record a video..... let alone how to read a calendar!

This month is one I'm least proud of out of the last few though. This one I basically put in no hours, and played higher than I really wanted to. My game has come a long way though, but I realized today I'm falling back into the trap of playing my super aggro crazy style HU. I do it b/c it works Great and is optimal if I could guarentee them to play at least 3k hands vs me, but alot of times I get stacked early and as soon as I start to make a comeback they quit, so I need to be more careful.

Hopefully I can manage to have as much fun at school and get in more hands and make some good $ next month.

Could you include your PFR% as well, I'm interested in seeing how you play HU/6 max.

btw, if you played 2600 hands of 6 max, I don't think that accounts for only 5% of your graph ;)

just cuz it says 6m doesnt mean theres 6 players there. alot of times i only sit 6m when theres some1 alone that i want to play HU.

In a few days I'll be at 200k hands on this DB and I'll prob post all my stats then.

LOL at the 49 hands of $50NL full ring with a VP$P of 46.9 and a BB/100 hands of 202.9! I take it there were only a couple other players at the table when you were playing and not a full 9 or 10. Still pretty funny.
