Ok, settle down. This isn't a freeroll for YOU to get into next year's WSOP. It's a freeroll celebrating ME getting into next year's WSOP. Wooohoooo!

Instead of doing anything even close to what we did last time (surely you remember the nightmare that was November), I'm making this an open - well, semi-open - freeroll. The prize pool is $100. If that's not worth your time, so be it, but if winning that could give your roll a boost, go for it. It's not about the money for me - I think these things are way fun.

All I ask is that you register to be a member of this site (if you aren't already) and post your Poker Stars name in this thread, so we know who everyone is. Easy enough???

Thanks for all these freerolls man, it's a great way to get to know the people on the forum and improve (my) game.

I just heard back from Poker Stars. Turns out the minimum amount for a freeroll is $100, so guess what? The prize pool just doubled!

so this event is open to pretty much anyone who simply registers on this forum and just posts their nick on this thread at least few mins before gametime? :confused:

TP you should jsut make it that you make the pw sumthing redicolous and only send it to ppl that u recognize on this website...that way no1 will guess it and we can keep it private

Yes to your first question. And I doubt it but also don't care to the second.

Because there is no post requirement (well, 1), the board won't be flooded with idiots, and maybe we'll get anothe few new good members out of it. If not, I really don't care - it's a $100 freeroll, and it's on me!

No, not yet. Also as I stated in the first post, I will update the info when Stars gets back to me.

But you won't have the password until just before the tourney starts anyway, so there is really no hurry for them to create it.

And thanks! I don't know when that freeroll is, and when I asked them, I got a stupid email response about how to register for tourneys on their site and to be there 10 minutes ahead of time and so on. They obviously didn't even read my question.

By the *looks* of it, the $25K Freeroll is July 23rd at 3:00pm. At least that's what it looks like by the tournament. The buy-in is set at $10K but it is invite only so I'm guessing that's when it is.

Since it's unlikely Nikita or I will make it there this year, you know we'll be rooting for you!

Which reminds me.... I can stay with friends for free, but for the Main Event, I think it might be beneficial to stay at the Rio. I'm gonna call them now and see if I can get myself a nice earlybird deal...

Ouch...well actually...that's not too bad now that I start using my maf skills. 15 nights? Did you get any "extra" money for winning the seat? I think FT gave out an extra 2k for everyone who qualified for the ME for 2005.

I got 2k, but was hoping to not have to spend it all. 2k is 2k, whether I spent it on accomodations in Vegas, or tourneys in the Bahamas, etc...

Very impressive man. I think I'll give the Satelite a couple of tries as well. I'm committing 1K to qualifying for WSOP ME. And I guess UB has a pretty sweet deal with their WSOP VIP Package Freeroll. Just need to be top 150. Works out to a $600 freeroll entry sorta.

well i was at vacation this whole week, went to lake thaoe, best place ever, anyway i am back, and looks like there is another freeroll, i got 4th, which was second best from users at this site, las time. i try to win it this time, but the way tp says it, there are gonna be a lot of people.
