I just searched on "Royal Flush," because I know a number of them have been posted, but I guess I can't copy/paste the search results, so I guess you'll have to search for yourself.

But yes, quite a few people here have had them and posted them, myself included.

BrianSwa 12-22-05 12:58 PM

well

the amount of hands everyone plays on here I dont think there is anyone who hasnt at least been at a table where someone didnt get one.

Talking Poker 12-22-05 01:50 PM

If by "everyone," you mean all 900+ of the registered users here, I think you are way, way off. If you mean the "regulars," I think it's safe to say that most people have at least seen a Royal Flush, but still probably not everyone.

Boobie Lover 12-22-05 01:58 PM

Seen around 5 or so. Never had one.

BrianSwa 12-22-05 02:12 PM

yea

wasnt too clear was I? by everyone and by me saying the amount of hands we see I meant the regulars that play that amount of hands. Seeing as most of us play 3-4 tables at a time and see so many hands per hour I thought it was safe to say most regulars have at least seen one.

Reel Deal 12-22-05 02:29 PM

Seen only 1 (not mine) and it was about a week ago.

Zybomb 12-22-05 02:49 PM

never had one... ive seen 2

1 was against me when I flopped top two pair, reraised him all in (cash game) and he called on a royal draw... hit the normal flush on the turn THEN THE ROYAL ON THE RIVER.... i wasnt too happy

jaeh00d 12-22-05 04:33 PM

Have ever had one, flopped 4 parts to it twice but never got the last piece. I've been at the casino when someone has gotten them a couple of times.

The royal flush of spades jackpot at the casino here is over 50,000 it hasnt been won in weeks. I'm gonna go play there in a bit.

ChipFish 12-22-05 05:17 PM

I had 3 of the 4 Royals that I had on the Party Sites.
I haven't even looked at my other sites Databases though.

greenbuckets 12-22-05 05:27 PM

I've seen two online and actually had one in a casino. I hit it on the turn but the other two guys in the hand obviously had nothing because when I bet a lousy $4 on the river, everyone folded. I think I won $6 on that hand. Yippee.

Robbr25 12-22-05 05:30 PM

My first real money Royal Flush was on PartyPoker.
My first real money str8 flush (K-9)(SB) happened on the 2nd hand of $2/$4(I think) Limit Hold'em at the Tropicana in AC. It was my first time sitting down at a poker table in a casino. What happened on the first hand(BB) you ask?? Full House. Took my $69 and left to meet up with friends after the str8 flush.

justluck1010 12-22-05 07:29 PM

Cant say I have, but I can say my ace high flush got beeten yesterday by a jack high straight flush. I hope to see one eventually.

boatracer 12-22-05 07:52 PM

Royal Flush

I have gotten 1 since I started playing. I was holding 10 Q hearts and the flop came J K A of hearts. I checked tring to let someone bet, nobody did and when I bet 200 ev1 folded. Didnt make any money. It was like they knew I had it. :( I haven't seen 1 since

By the way thanks for the info TP in the PM :D

Akverno 12-23-05 06:58 AM

I've seen two in person, one at a home game and the guy didn't win a whole lot, the other at the hard rock in ft. lauderdale. I've seen one in online stud, and two in hold em. I've gotten a few straight flushes in my life, one to the king at the dog track in west palm, and I lost low end to the high end against my brother in a home game. Frustrating hand.

Edit: Fixed an idiotic typo.

Akverno 12-23-05 07:27 AM

Speaking of straight flushes, i just got one in a tournament to knock someone out. Well at least cripple them down to 45 chips.

Talking Poker 12-23-05 12:33 PM

Rumor has it that bdawg once took down a $3 pot with a Royal Flush. LOL.... :D

Zybomb 12-23-05 12:36 PM

good value bet im sure....

Favre[4] 12-23-05 12:48 PM

ive had 2 straight flushs but nvr a royal flush

MAYHEM45 12-23-05 12:54 PM

I've had two royal's myself and seen about 5-6 more.

Favre[4] 12-23-05 12:58 PM

the weird thing about my straight flushes is i got both within an hour

holdemstewart 12-23-05 01:43 PM

Ive seen 4 and two of them were me. My first time ever seing a royal flush is when I floped it in a home game. I went all in and he called with two pair on the flop.

Talking Poker 12-23-05 01:53 PM

Wow... what a horrible play! If there was ever a time to slowplay, I'd say flopping a Royal Flush would be that time! LOL..... Why in the world did you bet there???

jaeh00d 12-23-05 02:48 PM

Well here goes the update from the casino last night.

I had my flirt with over 51,000 grand last night. I was on the big blind and had King of spades and a deuce of clubs. You better believe flop came A,J, 10 all of spades. So I had the King and a guy on the other side of the table had the queen. Big deal but close enough to make you say damn.

Turns out around 830 last night when I was there playing a guy in the tabe right next to me got it on the river. You just knew what it was when you heard the yells and screams.

He had QJ of spades, Flop came AK of spdes with some other useless card and he then got the 10 of spades on the river.

Yesterday was his day.... he deserves it though he really looked like a guy that needed the money. ( no pun intended )

So it goes back down to 3000

dmopiela 12-23-05 05:06 PM

I've never seen a royal but I've gotten two straight flushes. I also heard the same rumor about bdawg, it was all over the high rollers rooms across the country...lol. :D

FatRufus 12-23-05 06:23 PM

well as we saw from jd's post he's had one, good job JD

Thine Jericho 12-26-05 08:09 PM

Had two royals, one real using both cards (online), the second only using one (live).

Seen four or five more, I stopped keeping track after the second; but still have screenshots of the first two, as well as the one that I made.

eejit101 12-26-05 08:18 PM

seen 4 in my life, 2 were mine (online at prima sites) one i saw online at stars, the other was in our thursday night cash game and it was dad who rivered it on me to beat my quads, BIG POT!!!! shame it wasnt on party, nice jackpot for that! lol

jaeh00d 12-26-05 08:42 PM

prima sites, i've heard people saying something about that in that certain context.

are prima sites full of bullshit or something?

Dodoubled 12-27-05 07:14 AM

I've seen one. Saw it at the Borgata about a year ago. There were four to a spade royal on the board, and the dude right next to me had the ace. The Borgata staff gave him a hat. No lie.

I've gotten one straight flush in my life, and that was online. The closest I've ever come to a royal flush was in -- get this -- a Let It Ride table in A.C. I held the A, K, 10 of spades, and the queen was the first card turned. Unfortunately, the jack didn't come on the "river," but I still caught a spade to pay off, like, 8-to-1 or something. I don't think I've won at that godforsaken game since. Come to think of it, I don't think i've played it, either.
I do have a buddy, however, who's hit four of a kind three times (and his girlfriend's done it once), paying out 1800 or so a pop each time.

jaeh00d 12-27-05 08:04 AM

i think i've hit four of a card maybe 10 - 15 times now... no lie

never even had a straight flush though...

closest ive been is the 10 of spades on two occasions once for 12k and the other for 51k...

i'll get it one day i just hope i'm in the casino when it happens
