its account specific, i got a crappy 15% up to 75$, not sure if im gonna bother doing it since i cant play beginner tables there anymore to clear it.

Mines weird, I got an intial 20% up to $100 10x playthrough, but if I clear than in 3 days then I can deposit for another 20% up to $100 but with a 15x playthrough, and in addition to that I can do it again but at 20x playthough. 20TO100MARCH

i got 2 offers and its confusing as hell.
One says 25% to 100 (times 3 like u said)
- the other says 25% to $10,000 ???????

i wrote them an email and im gonna wait to see what they say.

Nevermind. Seconds after firing off an angry Email to their VIP department, I log in again to see if they've changed their minds. THEY DID!

25% up to 100, with the chance of 300 total if I play 4500 hands in 9 days. WOOHOO!

Mine is $75, with the potential to get it to $225 with a lot of play. Not bad....

they messed mine up - $25 up to $10,000.
So i wrote them an email tellin them and i got a free $100 bonus - so $400 if i play alot.

A friend of mine has a problem. Doesn't know which bonus offer he should choose from to deposit his money in. It's between the Stars offer and the PartyPoker offer. I need your opinions on the bonus you think is best for him to choose from?

Considering that he can only deposit for one of the bonuses, likely meaning that he has a small bankroll, the Party bonus is probably the choice. If your friend only plays SNGs or tournaments though, Stars is the way to go.

He has a $200 bankroll. I've suggested he put $100 in each account. He want's to get more for his money and wants to put it all in one account. What do you suggest?

As for the tournaments vs ring games, he enjoys playing both. But like you said, it would probably be easier to clear the bonus from Stars than it would at Party.

And why does your friend have you posting here asking questions for him? Why not just ask himself?

If he plays a lot of cash games (a lot of hands), Party. If he prefers tourneys or it will take him a long time to clear the bonus, he should go with Stars.

Why? And please don't say because of the blind structures/higher starting stack amounts.

Because you can't clear bonii playing tourneys on Party (raked hands only), but you can on Stars.

Is everything cool at Party now? I havent played or deposited or anything since that wonderful upgrade. I called to see what the deal was, and they said it should another few days. That was a couple weeks ago, I figured I'd wait a bit more. Now I see they have reloads out there, and when I try to open software, it says there is an upgrade to newer version. I am assuming that everything is cool now, but if I click to install newer software, will it un-install older one? And if so, am I still in danger of losing images?
Again, it seems all is cool now, I havent seen anything on any forums about current problems, but just want to be sure. I dont trust them at all! When I called originally I got a quick reply of "All you have to do is un-install and re-install". Uh-huh.

You should be cool just by clicking the upgrade button. I haven't heard of any problems since the first few days after the major upgrade.

Is anyone else trying to do the bouns deal where you can double and triple the bonus if you clear the first part w/in 3 days of depositing?

I cleared the first part in 1 day and should now be eligible for the double (which has to be done in 3 days) and then the triple if I clear the double... however, it's not showing up on the bonuses page in the My Account section so I have no idea how many more raked hands I have to play to get the double-up (and then triple-up). WTF??

A friend of mine is playing that same bonus deal. Deadline is Friday. How is it possible to do the double in 3 days if deadline is on the 17th? When is your deadline?

My read of the rules is that the clock starts ticking on the day you deposit, then if you clear the bonus w/in 3 days of depositing you have 3 days to hit the required raked hands to double the bonus. So, I thought it depends on your deposit date and not a set date like the 17th. Perhaps I'm wrong though.

The 17th is just the deadline for your initial deposit for the bonus.

He misunderstood it. He's sure glad he doesn't have a deadline now.

To return the favor, he sent me this: (maybe it might help you. He just emailed it to me).

You make a deposit of $100 on March 10 using bonus code '15TO75MAR'.

$15 is then added to your Bonus Account. To release this bonus into your Real Money account, you must play 150 raked hands within 7 days.

However, if you play 150 raked hands within three (3) days (by March 13, 23:59 ET), you will be eligible for a second bonus offer of $15.

You do not need to make any more deposits! The second bonus offer of $15 will be added to your Real Money account only if you play 225 raked hands (15 times the Bonus Amount) by March 16, 23:59 hours (ET) within 3 days from the start of the second bonus offer.

ps: What I gather from this information is, you have to wait the alotted 3 day time period for each bonus, whether you clear it in 1 or 2 days is of no importance.

I cleared my first bonus on saturday, it showed up in the my account section on both the website and in the client, hands were updated but not in real time as they used to be. For the second bonus, I recieved a pop up that informed me that I had until today to clear the bonus, it never showed up in the my account section or in the client, however when I finished it (using PT) I let it sit and the next day(today) the money was in my account and I was eligible for the last one. Not sure if I feel like putting in another 4-5 hours nine tabling 1-2, BTW this bonus also won't appear in your account.

In case anyone else is having problems with them not showing raked hands, you can use poker tracker to do so. First go to prefrences and set up only party and set the date to the date that you began playing on the bonus. Now when you go into the summary tab PT will tell you how many raked hand's you have played . From what I have heard though party has changed the way that they count raked hands, it used to be any hand that you were dealt in and the pot was raked, but now the condition is that the pot must be raked 1 cent for every player at the table in order for it to be considered a raked hand. In other words if your at a full 25NL table and th pot is raked .05 you would NOT be granted a raked hand. I hope that this helps.

Your hourly rate goes DOWN the more you play there....their marketing team (wait...that is funny right there) their "how we gonna fuck em today" team...has outdone themselves this time.

This basically happened to everyone - party just sucks at organizing stuff . I cleared the first and 2nd bonus but never got the 3rd.

So this is account specific, eh? I haven't played on Party in a LONG time, but need a change of pace. If I start playing there again, am I more likely to get the bonus offers?
