Hey, so theres a freeroll ( i know dont you hate that word!) on pokerstars that you can represent your forum with. Its called the online forum challenge. Im not sure how big the prize pool is( too lazy to check), but I know that top 5 spots get there own freeroll for thier forum in which (I THINK) you can have restricted entry. I got talking poker up there of course! Oh, and they have a 6500$ added 5$ tournament which is awesome for us low rollers.

P.S. make sure you sign up with TP.com, maybe we could get our attendence up!

The freeroll is $5k
Thje buyin is $6.5k added, $5.50 buyin.

I know this as i got the forum i mod in it. Looks ok, and stars is adding alot of the $$ itself.

I see now. I didn't understand that you have to sign up on the website first.

they send you an email that tells you that you are signed up and you will recieve a ticket

Let's try to get a KICK-ASS representation for the freeroll event though! The top placing forum gets a money-added freeroll from Stars! Yeah, I realize that we're up against 2+2, but we can beat them!

Yeah kkirk its under Events/Special tab. Just look for it I think its in 4 days, and the 5$ buyin is in 5 days

hmmm says i dont have the ticket.

Apparently, Poker Stars opened the tourney for registration before getting all of the tickets set up. It should be good to go by now, so try again.

I haven't registered yet, because I'm not sure I'll be around to play, but GL to those of you who do. Represent!!!

I checked the OFC site earlier today and it said that registration was closed. I'm presuming that this is because of the timeframe necessary to pass the information along to PS and have the ticket created for that person's account so that they get it in time for the actual event has closed.

No reason to keep this sticky, then!

Whew. I made it in before I got blinded out. Well, I wasn't really worried about being blinded out, but I figured I'd be down 300-400 chips. Made it back a bit earlier than I figured (but later than I'd initally planned on) and was only down a couple hundred and was pleased to see that we've started with deep stacks. I've now managed to build up my stack to ~11K (around 45th place out of 1250). Hopefully I'll do talkingpoker.com proud!

Only 325 registered right now. Even if it gets to 500 by the start, that's still a $12 value for $5.50.

Plus, I've pretty much dominated two "multi-forum" mtts in the past, so I may have to represent.
