Party Poker...owned and operated by the devil

So, I usually don't pay much attention to the flop after I fold (hate it when people at the table start whining about how they shoulda-coulda-woulda stayed in), but this is flippin' ridiculous. Three hands in a row:

1) A4 - I fold - flop AA4
2) J8 - I fold - flop 888
3) Ac2c - I fold - flop 3c4c5c

Sweet. Not really.

This happens all the time. What I hate even more, and it only happens when you multitable: you hold a marginal hand which needs help on the flop, and if you don't get that help, then you're likely to fold. I miss the flop, am faced with a bet, and easily fold. Yet, on another table, I flop the help I would have needed. [That was verbosely complicated.]

Here's an example. I was 4-tabling NL ring games, two $25NL and two $50NL. I'm dealt 44 on one of the tables, and I see a cheap flop. Flop brings all overcards, and it's an easy fold when someone makes it $10 to call.

I look at my other three tables. I missed a flush on the one (fuck!), and the other 2 tables have a 4 on each of their respective flops (fuck! fuck!).

Gotta love that shit.

Are you serious? Three hands in a row? That is SICK. Funny, but sick :D

Just looking over this thread again... you know what is REALLY sick? How god-damn hard it is to hit the Bad Beat Jackpot. On one of the hands, Hero held J8, but folded preflop. *If* he held on, he would have made quad 8s. (Not too shabby.) To continue the hypothetical, if someone else held QQ, and the turn and river brought runner runner Q's, then it still wouldn't qualify for the jackpot.

What!? Yes...

Rules state both players must use both cards in their hand, and (I think) there has to be more than 3 players in the pot at the beginning of the hand.

Utterly ridiculous, IMO.

Odds of winning bad beat jackpot are extremely improbable. Might as well play the lottery. BUT, when the pot gets substantial in size, say 250 to 300k, the fish school like no tomorrow and you can make substantial profit due to that fact alone. BBJ+FISH=+EV
