my share value graph

I just love looking at it lol, these are share values of my current BAP.

drewjax 04-11-08 08:08 PM

Is this how much your SWA stock is worth?

Is this because of the crap going on with American, or influenced by it at least?

Otherwise, I'm simply......

stormswa 04-11-08 08:50 PM

sorry forgot to say what the share values were for, they are for my current BAP.

they are share values, the shares were sold at $5 a piece you can tell by the bottom line of the graph. I added $140 to the stake that is the first dot on the graph going up. Then each other dot on the graph represents a update in the total bankroll. By the total bankroll then the share values increase or decrease depending on where the BR is at . The BR is over $1300 now so all the share values are worth more then double of the starting value. So if I were to sell shares now I would pay everyone depending on how many shares they own by the current share value.

doubling share values this early in the BAP is amazing to be honest and im just really proud of it so I thought I would share. Pretty much im $25 or so short of having everyone freeroll through the next 80 $4 180's and the next 27 early doubles.

[x] makes zero sense

stormswa 04-11-08 09:40 PM

how does it make zero sense? its a graph charting share values thought it was pretty easy to follow?

sell $5 shares to raise $660 that would be 132 shares, each share is worth $5 to start, as you win money every share value goes up, right now they are worth $10.60 if I were to close BAP and sell shares at current value. I dont get where the confusion is here?

Wes 04-11-08 09:59 PM

Or you could just say you are up $x from being staked like any other person would say (lol someone staked you).

drewjax 04-11-08 10:05 PM

The REAL tpf is baaaaaaaaaaaaaack.

BL flaming SWA, the way it should be!

carry on

:D

I cant remember the exact site, but the backing site you are on SWA actually looked cool.

stormswa 04-11-08 10:07 PM

ive ran like 25 stakes over their by some people you may know. :talktothehand

and when im showing profit everytime im staked its not too hard, my $330 stake sold out in under 24 hours and my $660 one sold out in less then a week. Been reading your blog at work though Wes good stuff keeps me entertained on boring days. And it wasnt actually one person it was about 15 different ones and when you can take $800 to over $1300 in like 15 games it shows a lot, yes I know you crush this in your cash games every minute ( remember read your blog) but for me in a freaking $4 game this is good. Like I said in my other post I would like to learn from players that are better then me like yourself without the bullshit.

stormswa 04-11-08 10:09 PM

its just the new neverbeg, the new owners took it over and revamped some things. I have meet a lot of really cool people on there the short time I have been there. There isnt a ton of strategy talk though which is why I decided to come back here to help my game and plug holes. I still make really bonehead plays like today in the double when I bluffed the river when it was obvious I didnt have shit.

All I want to do is learn and become better player.

drewjax 04-11-08 10:18 PM

I'm too lazy to search and figure out where I saw it/what the name is!

Post the site name in the spam section??

stormswa 04-11-08 10:24 PM

I will let Mark decide on that Drew, I just came back today and last thing I want to do is piss off TP.....again.

drewjax 04-11-08 10:37 PM

mmmmmmmmk, but I thought the spam section was pretty much open for anything.

w/e

stormswa 04-11-08 10:44 PM

IDK havent been here in awhile dont know, usually links to other forums are looked down on when it comes to TPF.

drewjax 04-11-08 11:15 PM

I could find it easily enough if i wanted too, I guess I dont care that much right now.

Anyone who is looking for stakes, and is always busto (paging Fildy:p)
should check it out though. Whatever the hell its called.

GL though

Talking Poker 04-12-08 01:09 PM

I just read this whole thread and it says right in here - neverbeg. Yes? Or am I missing something? Do you guys really need it to be clickable to find it? I'm guessing adding a .com (or similar) would do the trick. But sending Fildy there to get staking seems odd... he doesn't seem to have much (any?) trouble getting backers here when he asks for them. I've backed him myself in the past and would do it again.

Nice graph. I've never seen one quite like that before (with share value), but I guess that's a good way to do it when you are selling different numbers of shares to different people.

Two questions:

1. Hypothetically, say you won that $25 more and then didn't cash again. The graph line would drop and end up back around the $5 per share where it started, right?

2. :donkey What's "BAP" stand for? :donkey

Robbie Robb 04-12-08 01:40 PM

I guessed "buy a piece".

Daomonk 04-12-08 01:51 PM

Yeah buy a piece and nice job so far

Fildy 04-12-08 02:22 PM

He offered me a $4.40 180 man stake shortly after he finished playing one of his own. The reason he sent me to the site (I'de been there before long long ago) was so that he could recieve the points associated with giving the stake out. At least I believe that was his reason. I tend not to post for stakes there however because you either have to know someone or start off playing 10c tourneys.

stormswa 04-12-08 02:33 PM

yes and no, it would end up around where the first dot is, because I added money to that bap the share values started up already. Right now with my added $140 all shares will make profit from what I have made so far. But as for your example yes if I made a bap for say $500 and in 1st week I made $500 and then didnt win any money at all the graph would go way up to double share values then drop all the way back down to line.

BAP is buy a piece like someone said.

jimmym 04-13-08 09:45 PM

Can I buy $20 of shares? at $5 a share now or would I have to pay $10.90.

I invest £200($400) amonth in Tesco(fresh*n*easy) shares now and have done for 3 years currentley I pay £4.20 ($8.40) a share and will do for every share for a year, at pressent the share value is £3.90 so I lose every week and they dont even have the decency to send me a graph like yours.

Nice figures and graph.:cheers:BTW
