pokertracker 3

is it worth it, im about to go look now but would like your guys opinions?

Robbie Robb 05-19-08 03:38 PM

I've already upgraded. I like it. there are still a few small bugs the guys are working on quashing but it's definitely going to have a big edge over PT2 with some of the things they have planned.

is the HUD maintaining 4-6 tabling cash games right now? I will def get it but I am waiting until the HUD is a little more refined. I would appreciate it if someone gets the word out when that occurs.....

stormswa 05-19-08 03:57 PM

testing it out now in my games on stars, I love how the HU display is so clear with board cards and mucked cards.

stormswa 05-19-08 05:17 PM

impulse buy, LOL.

just went ahead and got it.

Robbie Robb 05-19-08 07:49 PM

I can't speak to that, sorry. I don't multitable to that extent other than a very rare session of 4-tabling SNGs (and I haven't done that in quite a while).

I've upgraded to PT3 and paid for the registration but am still running PT2 as a "backup"

melioris 05-20-08 03:30 PM

so I bought it and still can't figure out the HUD. But they have included something called "table tracker" which is essentially sixth sense. You get it free for a month when you purchase PT3, and they you will have to pay a monthly fee to keep this feature functional.

I think I got it figured out, like how to add new lines and stuff if you want some help?

JDMcNugent7 05-21-08 04:10 AM

just got it about 10 min ago already seems really cool def worth it

MAYHEM45 05-25-08 11:54 PM

Any good hud layouts for this yet? Storm?

PS HEM is a steaming pile of garbage, what a waste.

Robbie Robb 05-26-08 02:59 AM

No way to export and import layouts at the moment.

herschelw 05-26-08 02:03 PM

There's definitly a lot they still need to work out in PT3.

Windbreaker 05-27-08 05:09 PM

I've never really used PT before....so I'm a total nit. I'm probably doing something wrong, but everytime I auto import, it takes forever. It goes through every single hand in my hand history file from the beginning....shouldn't it skip files that have been processed already?

Beats me...I've never really used it before....and I don't really need to start now. I was just checking it out. So far, it doesn't seem to be that useful for SNGs/MTTs - have to manual enter results? I also like to sit in the same seat, whenever I play, so if I want to use HUD, I would have to sit in the original seat. HUD stats probably isn't nearly as useful in Tourney plays as it is in cash games....at least for me....maybe I'm not using it correctly at all.

I haven't started using PT3 yet, but in for PT you have the ability to move HHs that you've already imported to another folder. I'm sure there is a similar setting in PT3 where you can move those HHs and I'm sure that will solve the slow loading problem.

As for SNGs/MTTs, most sites you have to manual enter the info, but again for stars, you can set it up to read the emails you can have sent for the tournies. a previous post that goes through the details. The whole thread is about this issue actually.
