Canadians and Credit Card Deposits

Inquiring for Topaz3...

Have any Canadians run into trouble using creit cards to deposit on-line?

I have only deposited once on PS and FTP and it was some time ago, so I am out of this loop.

I haven't been able to use my visa cards for a couple of years now. Mostly I depend on instadebit which has been great.

Yeah, TD will allow the charge to go thru. Rob and I had a friend who couldn't deposit with Royal bank. I think he switched to BMO though and that worked.

Just be warned, depositing on a poker site is considered a cash adv so if you don't want to see interest show up on your next bill make sure you have a credit balance on your card.

To speak further of my friend - he got so pissed at RBC that he moved ALL of his banking, mortgage, and LOC to the tune of about $400K over to BMO.

All because they wouldn't let him drop $50 online to play some poker.
