Chip Reese
I just saw this article in the last 10 minutes
Wow.....
RIP
How did he go? |
Talk at the tables is he had pneumonia like symptoms last night and died in his sleep this morning.
here is another article, pretty unreal. |
RIP Chip. Man, this is very sad news.
Sad to hear this. Chip was one of the best. From what I've seen and heard of him was a very humble and cordial man. RIP
Wow. What would the odds have been that Doyle would outlive Chip?
RIP Chip :( |
Very, very sad.
Chip was one of the best and most liked poker players of all time - if not on the top of both lists. |
wow, that is truly sad!
RIP |
OMG I saw this thread and just assumed chip won another tourny and didnt bother opening it up.I was shocked when I did just now and read it.I thought to myself why didnt I see this as front page news then I realized that however much we think about poker its still has a long way to go.But there should be mention of him and how great of a player he was but most importantly how great of a guy he was.!!! He will be missed!
Wow. From all accounts he was a class act.
FT paused all tables the other night for a minute of silence in his honour. Very nice.

I kinda had a bad feeling when I saw this title....
Got this email from the WPT:
I've seen Chip a couple of times but have never spoken to him. Even so, if I was in Vegas tomorrow, I think I might make time to pay my respects. People always say nice things about people after they die, but I seriously never heard one single bad thing about Chip Reese - ever. My condolences to his family and friends. |
This is a great charity. This is how my aunt went on Monday.
