Mixed Games League????
 

Somewhere around the time of the last league, I said I would try to get a mixed games thing going in the new year.

Obv. this can be whatever people want to make it, but my basic original idea was to only go to each game type once.

There are lots of variables, such as which games people want to play, how many games on the schedule, betting formates etc.

The only question at this point is, "are you interested?"

If your answer is an absolute no, just vote no.

If you have a yes, or a conditional yes/no, feel free to explain what would make or break the league for you.

On the the standard model of $5 buy-ins and a $20 optional league fee, I'd be down for anything, even though that would be a nice % of my uber-micro BR these days. I have really enjoyed the leagues I have been able to be a part of so far.

I'll play if we get enough people to make it worthwhile... The mixed games seem to attract a lot less players than our straight hold'em games, and playing with < 1 table of players every week isn't really that much fun, IMO.

Well if they're 9:30 games then I'm in like Flynn! I only work till 9:00 now so I'll be able to be home for them. I may suck (even more) at the non-HE games but who cares? It's the social aspect I'm playin' for. As well as maybe helping my non-HE game...

I don't play enough poker anymore so I'm in. Although, being back at work and taking care of the kids has made me pretty busy lately, so hopefully I can actually make it to the games.

If possible, can we plan to do an 8-game on 'Stars?

I would be in. I am with Kurn and would like an 8 game added to the mix. I would prefer a cash game but I understand making that in league form would be tough.

I'd like that.

It would be cool if there was a way to get Stars to let us have a 2-7 Single draw tournament too. I don't think it is a standard option, but maybe Wes has that kind of pull.
