NBA Playoffs

Really don't know what to make of it this year. I liked the Celtics before KG went down.

GO MAVS

sil3ntq 04-20-09 01:08 PM

Go bulls

Fildy 04-20-09 02:09 PM

While I love Cleveland and think Lebron is amazing (who doesn't?), I think that the Lakers are too good and too deep this year for the Cavs to stand a chance. I think both the Lakers and Cavs blow through their conference and the Lakers win in 7. I hope not because bron bron is bye bye if he doesn't get a ring, and that will mean I yet again have no legitimate sports team to root for :-(

JDMcNugent7 04-20-09 05:55 PM

Lakers will win it.

thrash1294 04-20-09 08:04 PM

dont count out the nuggets in the west:thumbsup:

Reel Deal 04-20-09 10:36 PM

Celts nearly went down 0-2 tonight. They may not get out of the first round.

sil3ntq 04-26-09 05:16 PM

How bout them Bulls huh? =]

Fildy 04-26-09 05:27 PM

Derrick Rose is going to be something great.

JDMcNugent7 04-26-09 09:57 PM

they wont get out of 1st round

Fildy 04-26-09 10:16 PM

I agree, but they are playin on another level right now. Esp Rose, he rose (no pun intended) to the occasion for sure this year in the playoffs, Gordon playing well too.

sil3ntq 04-28-09 02:10 AM

i know they wont get out of the first round.. but being a Bulls fan, i gota keep my hopes up. winner of game 5 wins the series.

JDMcNugent7 04-28-09 02:16 AM

id love to see cavs knock out the lakers

GTDawg 04-28-09 10:29 AM

What in the hell happened to the Hornets?

sil3ntq 04-28-09 01:01 PM

nothing. they're just horrible. nuggets are sending a message to the lakers. :)

sil3ntq 04-28-09 10:31 PM

i wish gordon hit that shot at the end of regulation... -_-

PShabi 04-28-09 11:11 PM

Brad Miller - Purdue guy

ugh, tough spot

jillaj 04-29-09 10:57 AM

Choker is the word. See Derrick Rose for another example.

Fildy 04-29-09 01:56 PM

He definately choked, but that should have been a flagrant. Ronod didn't even go for the ball and just slapped Miller in the face. Doesn't really matter though, Celtics should have won the series already.

thrash1294 04-29-09 03:24 PM

Dont know if any of you are following the ATLvs Mia series But it has been a good one Game 5 tonight.

Kurn 04-29-09 08:12 PM

Yes, let's turn all our sports into girly games.

Rondo's play was a winner's play, in the finest Celtic tradition.

sjay2k 04-30-09 04:44 AM

I like how James Worthy pushes his own teammate, causing him to fall onto the courtside reporters

jillaj 04-30-09 09:59 AM

If Miller did it to Rondo it would have been a flagrant no doubt.

Kurn 04-30-09 12:57 PM

Only because Miller doing it to Rondo would cause Rondo to fly about a mile and it would look worse than it really was, just as Rondo doing it to Miller made it look not as bad as it really was.

The refs have to make the call in real time. A flagrant with seconds left in an OT is a disgrace.

There's an old saying. "All's fair in love, war, and the last 10 seconds of an NBA game." ;)

Kurn 04-30-09 12:58 PM

Yeah, but Worthy keeps Rambis in the game. If not for that push, Rambis starts throwing punches.

sil3ntq 04-30-09 11:11 PM

wowww whata game 6... joahkim noah's dunk was so perfect... Go Bulls !!!
