Home game frustration

I'm sure all of you have played in the home game where there are guys that will call you down with absolutely nothing. They rarely bet, but will check call all day long with bottom pair or whatever. I quickly realized that bluffing doesn't work as they will call you with ANYTHING...even a big bet. I know this exactly what you want, but what is the best strategy? It didn't help that none of my cards were hitting and I'd get called all the way to the river on a draw and of course they'd hit. Start playing super tight aggressive? Thoughts?

Super tight and over bet your made/big hands.

Yup, gotta be patient though and don't try to jump in and outplay them because you know they suck.

So your playing with a table of calling stations huh?

These players can be extremely annoying to play against, for the simple reason that it limits many weapons from your game: semi bluffing, bluffing, representing hands, etc. For this reason you must play a very mechanical (and boring) style of poker against these players. When you don’t have it, don’t bet it…they’ll call. When you do have it, bet, bet, bet – they’ll pay you off! It’s quite simple. As far as sucking out, just make sure they continue to make mistakes (by calling bets that are too large) against you. Oh yea, and if they do bet watch out they have monsters!

Thanks gang. I figured I had to tighten up. I just can't wait for the chance to get my money back.
