Hey everyone Im $100 on monday and wondering where I should put it keep in mind I only play tornaments and I know $50 is already going to jet set im leaning towards pacific since there players are so bad its easy money. Just want to get some suggestions and no im not just posting stuff to hit my 1000 posts since ive already told TP im not taking his money so let me know what you all think.

Read some reviews and take your pick:

If you only play tourneys, I would suggest .

humpty99 11-29-04 11:06 PM

I still like Paradise. Stars is where I have money now, and I like the site but I hate the graphics. I used to it now though.

BrianSwa 11-29-04 11:06 PM

hey

talking poker did you kill my other thread?
was it to long?

omahilo 11-29-04 11:20 PM

pokerstars is the best for tourneys... you can play tourneys for any games, sats to enter the WPT, EPT and the 350K weekly tourney.

BrianSwa 11-29-04 11:22 PM

hey

I like low buy-in events also like in the dollar amounts thats why i dont like party. You all can laugh but the $1.00 buy in alot of times can end up paying out just as much as the $5.00 one when 1k people enter and if you play smart can get into money pretty easy. I played a 2.75 torney and got 2nd out of 100 and got $17.00 i was happy.

Sites

PokerStars has a nice tourney structure. I also like the choices Party has as well as the Bad Beat tables.

Talking Poker 11-29-04 11:33 PM

I have no idea what you are talking about.... so... no.

BrianSwa 11-29-04 11:38 PM

hey

found it sorry i posted wrong place chip must of moved thanks...

as for party poker I dont like that system to much I dont play tables so there bad beat tables dont do a think for me neither do bonus's I make my money in big tornaments not on tables. Im a much better table player in B&M I like to look at my opponents but love tornaments online.

saminex@yahoo.com 11-30-04 03:19 AM

umm.personally i like ftp, 100% bonus, very nice layout and pros will play with you at the lower limits.

Gutzz 11-30-04 03:46 AM

I have only played on a hand full of sites, so you might not want to listen to me :).

Personally I like pokerstars the most. They allow you to input pretty much any pic for your avatar, which's fun. And also helps you recognize people quicker.

The interface is decent, i think it can strain the eyes a bit much if you have many tables open, but other than that it's ok.

Players... I dunno you get lots of everything there.

The customer support is great as well...

In the end I think you should just d/l a bunch of them, and try out their play money tables for a while. When you find the site you like the most, go with that one.

Cheers,

Gutzz

I have found that the mid level sites are great. Party is just too damn big. Too much craziness. The newer small ones never have the choices you want. So some of the mid range sites. Maybe pacific, but the choice of games etc. there isnt that great. Maybe Pokerroom?

BrianSwa 11-30-04 06:02 AM

omg

you dont get bonus points for tornaments I stated that like 10,000 times so ftp does absolutly nothing for me.

BrianSwa 11-30-04 06:03 AM

hey

yea i had 20 on my desktop im pretty torn between alot but I know im putting half on jet set.

BrianSwa 11-30-04 06:04 AM

hey

ya I like pacific because they have low buy-ins and the players are absolutley the worst you can see. If you can deal with the suck outs its nice.

mrkoontz 11-30-04 06:26 AM

party

It may just be me but the amount of river catches at party in tournaments amazes me. I am a rather tight player, and that seems to work better for me in tournaments on stars

Do you play only one table at once? cause pacific doesn't allow you to multi-table.. and I find their servers aren't the most reliable.. and they only have limit, pot-limit, and no-limit hold'em tourneys.. no omaha or stud if that makes a diff.

omahilo 11-30-04 02:34 PM

Stars has TONS of $1 tourneys.... last night I played a $1 LHE, limit Omaha and NLHE tournies... I also like to play some higher buyins $10 or so. PS is the only site I know where they offer about any game u want to play for a low buyin. Also the sats I was talking about are only $3 too... think if u won a seat to the 350K for $3 or $6 then did well... huge payday.

BrianSwa 11-30-04 02:44 PM

what

they have tons of omaha and i dont like no limit so works good for me.

BrianSwa 11-30-04 02:45 PM

thanks

thanks for advice ill check it out just dont like there interface but if the tornies are that good ill go there.

BrianSwa 11-30-04 04:00 PM

hey

ive been checking it out and because of the traffic in the $1.00 mtt im gonna deposit on stars something about paying $1.00 and maybe winning $800.00 sounds nice. Ive decided so done with the thread $50 on stars and $50 on jetset.

drewjax 11-30-04 06:50 PM

I'll have to check out TP review on JetSet. I have seen a few posts here that like the site. Havent heard much about it overall.

omahilo 11-30-04 08:23 PM

yeah today I played the $3 LHE event at 2 PM and finished like 50th... only won $5 but 1st place pay out was really nice $405 not bad for $3.

DaTruPoker 11-30-04 08:28 PM

for tourneys definetly Stars or try Pokeroom(5 dollar tourney every 30 mins) UB also has a good amount of low buy-in tourneys. I had some $ on pacific but cashed out after I cleared the bonus. Just awful site and very few small buy in tourneys.
