User Reputation...

As per a few requests, I'm turning this feature on. I have no idea how it works, and it has a gazillion settings, but feel free to play around with it. If people like it, I'll leave it on, otherwise, I'll turn it off again.

I started getting a bunch of SQL errors when I tyurned this on, so it's off again... I'll look into it and try again soon.

I can hook you up with the guy who runs the biggest sports forum on the internet, he looks to be running the same software as you are and has the reputation thing working fine, though it doesn't get alot of use. By the way they are just about to hit the MILLION post mark at that forum!!! A MILLION POSTS!!! You get $500 if your the person who makes the Millionth post and they even have a sports book sponsor that is taking bets on who will make that post (very funny). It's a $25 max bet and is just for kicks, but it is funny and I am honored to be part of an off-shore prop bet :D

Take the field at -200 of your interested, easy money.

not sure why it would do this - i dont think its related to be honest. As far as i can see this is an unhacked forum - if there is a problem, running the upgrade file could help

ive been running vbulletin sites for about 4 years now - ive got about 4 owned licenses presently. If your having problems with this sort of thing please pm me as theres a good chance that ive had the same problem in the past (my 2nd vbulletin site was over 5000 members and i had applied about 50 hacks to it!) and if not ill be able to point you in the right direction :)

fonzerelli_79 12-27-04 01:26 AM

infact - email me the sql error you got - ill be able to work out where the problem lies

For what it is worth ...

I still have trouble with SQL errors on the forum on my version of IE, but am now convinced it is a local issue.

Are people still trying to fix this? I want user reputation! I want to see what people think of me! (And I want to tell them what I think of them)

'I want to see what people think of me!" --- Uhhh no you don't. Trust me, you don't :D. lol

well if there isnt any problem - it wouldnt be difficult to resolve. Id be able to fix it in minutes

however, i really dont see the relevance on a site like this. I dont see any major benefit having it on
