this kid must be rich, he is in every freaking event and I think he was signed up for them before he got 3rd in event #2. WTF I want to go to his school, maybe his parent will adopt me :)

seriously though this kid is good I looked him up on THE DB and he has stong finishes.

Talking Poker 09-08-05 01:48 PM

Well, he did have a huge finish in the other Event... I'm sure that will more than cover the rest of his buy-ins.

I think they had an interview with him on - you can probably read more about your new boyfriend there.

BrianSwa 09-08-05 01:50 PM

yep

ya I read it everyone thought he was a pro because of the number of events he was involved in but said he was a school kid just trying to get by or something like that. He conducts himself very well at the table and im impressed by his play. Of course that other guy what is his name rogue or something like that he is on fire I expect him to final table soon in WCOOP also.

Here's a little tid-bit from the interview:

"#1PEN: I go to college at UC Irvine but I play about 15-25 hours a day..."

Umm, how does one play 25 hours a day? LMAO!!

Aequitas58 09-08-05 01:55 PM

Probably an English major ... they hate math!

BrianSwa 09-08-05 02:00 PM

No

i read the interview and If I remember correctly think he said he was a math Major.

BrianSwa 09-08-05 02:01 PM

#1PEN: I have lived in my hometown, Oak Park, California my whole life, I go to UC Irvine (going to start my second year in the fall), Im a math major and I do use a lot of math when I play. I played football and basketball in high school, still play them for fun, but not as competitive, never had a real job because Ive been making enough money playing poker for the last 2 years, all of my friends play poker and some are pretty good players, they just don't have the time and bankroll to play competitively.
