Best software?

Hey everyone, newbie here, probably played 100 or so hours on Party mostly .5/1 and 1/2 and SnG's and played 12 hours B&M 2/4. On Party I'm down about 100 or so (including bonuses), so net down around 200.. B&M I'm up $31 from 3 visits.

Just wondering what the best poker software was, I've heard a lot about Pokertracker, but how about acespades or wilson's turbotexasholdem?

I haven't heard of those last two, but PokerTracker seem to be a very good all around analysis of both your play and your opponents. Being able to find holes in your game and have the info to fix plug them at your fingertips is priceless.

One thig I will say about PokerTracker is I wish it would add more sites to its list. I play all over the place and would like to get all my hands in one place.

You are asking to compare apples and oranges. Of the three you listed, I have used Poker Tracker (stats tracking and analysis) and Wilson software (poker silumation), and they are for two very different things.

Hmmm maybe I should just change this thread to the pokertracker review thread then... anyone use it and notice results as you adjust based on your stats?

I can't say that I have noticed results, but this software is worth every penny. I have learned a LOT - about myself and my opponents.
