what's going on with the "new posts" button
 

I used to get a long list of the most recent posts, and now I only see 4. Is that normal now?

I really don't know how to answer this. Maybe there were only 4 new posts from when you were last logged on...?

There is a new feature on the main page of the site that lists the latest posts. If you click on "Top 10 Stats," that will take you to this page, where you can see a longer list:

I think I've got it figured. It seems to work a little differently than it did back in June. There's also a link under quick links that will pull up all the posts from today - that's a good one too.

Yeah, I upgraded the forum software and added a ton of custom goodies since you were here last.

So I've noticed - it's good. What's with the pennies? and where can I read about all the new stuff?

You can find descriptions of *some* of the new stuff in a few threads in this forum - late November, early December. There are only a few of them, so they should be easy to find.

Most of the upgrades are behind the scenes stuff that you guys won't ever even see. My personal favorite is the hack I added to help control the spam. It's AWESOME and has cut out at least 90 or 95% of the garbage spam that used to get through.

One of my favorite is; the private message e-mail alert, including the message itself. :thumbsup:
