2+2 magazine and ISOP

has anyone else here looked at the magazine that 2+2 is now posting every month? the first one seemed reasonable, but i think that there is significantly better poker content and advice in everyday forums like this and in some of the blogs out there. the comparison of cash game players to tourney players was interesting, but other than tat i wasnt particularly impressed by it overall.

additionally, is anyone here planning on trying to get into the ISOP when more details are published? i would assume that only TP would consider a straight up buy-in, and that everyone else would look at satellites only, but it seems like an interesting idea. pokerstars WCOOP proved to be pretty successful in the past, so the idea has merit. my big question about it is this: because they are rotating through 11 sites, will you be able to win an entry on one site, and use it at another? it would be interesting to see if they cooperated in this way, but i doubt that they would. it will also be interesting to see what sites are involved. if it is just 11 different prima skins, then it will porbably be not nearly as good as possible, but if party, stars, etc get involved this will be absolutely huge.

I'm a regular 2+2 reader

and regularly steal from them for this forum. Mixed reviews on the mag ... I thought Slansky's piece was a little thin, and don't see much value from Grannie other than the freerolls. But I applaud the effort.

I'm curious about ISOP, and will definitely stay informed, and likely participate.

Yeah, I saw that... When I get some more information on that, I'll make a decision... as of now, I can't say.
There seems to be no concrete info out right now.
