I hope he is worth the investment. $100-110 mil over 6 years? They hope to make some of that up with merchandise etc. so we'll see.

They should easily make up the $51 M extra with merchandising and broadcast money from Japan. What's most interesting is that they completely outplayed Scott Boras.

He should do pretty good...

Im not taking him top 50 since Im always going to take a proven guy like Johan Santana over him but he should do well.
