Last 24 Hours

Brag : Currenly in FL skipping a week of school with the gf - parents dont know.

Beat: Got most bullshit ticket tonight for 83 in a 45. Seriously completely bullshit b/c I know there is no way I was going over 65. There was traffic everywhere on a 2 lane 45 mph road. To go 83 I'd have to be weaving in and out of cars and actually trying to speed and I wasn't at all, when I argued he threated to "lock me up" so I just decided to shut up.
I honestly would have kept at it if I was in MO b/c it'd be no big deal to go to jail there, but here with no1 to bail me out but my gf w no $, I had to shutup. I feel like he knew that and was intentionally being a huge dick to try and scare me. I really could care less about the $ but it annoys me so bad when cops have a power trip or have to get their quota of 30 overs or whatever the hell his problem was.

Last 24 hours should pay for it and the vacation pretty easily though.

LOL... good move not pushing it any further with a Florida cop. Most of them still believe in "southern style justice" down here, best to say, "yes sir" and move on.

Officer: Good evening. Can I see your driver's license?
JDMcNugent7: I’m afraid I don't have one. It was suspended when I got my fifth conviction for drunk driving.
Officer: Oh dear. Can I see the owner's documents for this vehicle?
JDMcNugent7: Actually it's not my car. I stole it yesterday.
Officer: The car is stolen?
JDMcNugent7: Yes. But actually, I think I saw the owner's card in the glove box when I was putting away my gun.
Officer: There's a gun in the glove box?
JDMcNugent7: Yes sir. That's where I hid it after shot the owner and shoved her body in the trunk.
Officer: There's a BODY in the TRUNK?!?!?
JDMcNugent7: Yes, sir.

When he heard this, the police officer radioed his captain for backup. In a few minutes, the car was surrounded by armed police. The captain approached the driver to try and diffuse the tense situation.

Captain: Sir, may I see your license?
JDMcNugent7: Sure. Here it is.
Captain: Whose car is this?
JDMcNugent7: It's mine, officer. Here's the owner's card.
Captain: Would you mind just slowly opening your glove box so I can see if there's a gun in there?
JDMcNugent7: Of course officer, but there's no gun in here!
Captain: Would you mind opening your trunk? I was told you said there's a body in there.
JDMcNugent7: No problem officer, but I assure you there is nothing in the trunk!

The police captain was very confused about what had happened.

Captain: I don't understand it. The officer who stopped you said you told him you didn't have a license, that the car was stolen, that you had a gun in the glovebox, and that there was a dead body in the trunk!
JDMcNugent7: Really? Ain't that something? And I'll bet the lying sucker told you I was speeding, too ...

RD aren't u a FL lawyer or something? get me out of this.

seriously, how should I go about this?

Invigilator 10-20-08 08:00 PM

Every speeding ticket I have ever recieved was after the middle of the month. Go figure.

JDMcNugent7 10-20-08 08:02 PM

Got another ticket on the way home too btw, I cannot ever drive the speed limit, ever.

lightfungus 10-23-08 08:14 PM

I've been pulled over 7 times this year. Got my first ticket last weekend. I think it's my dashing good looks and winning smile.

Reel Deal 10-23-08 09:01 PM

I guess they forgot to give me the get-out-of-speeding-tickets-magic-wand when I passed the Bar exam, so, umm, pay them (the only way out is to show up on the court date to contest it and it would cost you more to travel back to Florida, so just pay them). Then go invest in a radar detector.

BTW, I have a friend who is a Florida State Trooper and he told me once that they won't go after someone for speeding unless they are more than 10 mph over the posted limit. It's probably still not fast enough for you 20-somethings, but try setting the cruise at 79.

Zybomb 10-24-08 03:30 AM

Come on thats a known fact that 0-9 mph over the speed limit is safe....no one will bag u for that or they'll look retarded

Reel Deal 10-24-08 09:08 AM

Apparently you've never driven through Georgia.
