Watch out JD

JDMcNugent7 10-13-07 08:02 PM

shit, thx ill watch out for that.

"he's pretty tough imo" lol...

bunny 10-13-07 08:41 PM

Players have some nerve!

What is it that turns them into such ignorant, evil people?

I won a hand against this guy in a tournament earlier and he says to me, fu & "I hope your mother gets breast cancer!"

I was a little taken aback and couldn't think of anything witty to say atm, so instead I went with the truth and said, she already had cancer and survived it.

I need some *how-to-be-nasty at the poker tables* 101 lessons. Anyone nasty enough to teach me?

MAYHEM45 10-13-07 09:07 PM

Lol EC10 is a huge dbag.

Fildy 10-14-07 12:42 AM

Rule Number one: Wish evil things upon their first born child.
Rule Number two: If rule number one goes through as planned, you shouldn't have chat any more so just curse at your monitor.

bunny 10-14-07 12:51 AM

I'd rather be considered a failure then, than be wishing harm to someone's child. :(

Fildy 10-14-07 12:52 AM

You asked how to be nasty. I gave you a full proof plan. Not saying its right by any means, but that is *how to be nasty 101* (actually thats probably like the 108 course but you are smart)

Talking Poker 10-14-07 01:38 AM

Later on in that thread:

Heh.

sjay2k 10-14-07 01:10 PM

JD for prime minister

Invigilator 10-14-07 01:28 PM

Bunny,

As far as nasty lessons go, that was pretty fool-proof. However, there is nothing saying that you have to dive into the muck with some a-hole when he gets grumpy.

This is like people who go on to the Springer show to confront someone and actually believe that they come off looking good. In a shit flinging contest, everyone ends up covered in crap and smelling bad.

Personally, I like the response you gave this person. That sort of stuff can bother me too, as the person has clearly crossed a line. I'd suggest getting rid of the chat function for a while. If you are on Stars, you can just put the sats option up instead.

Cultivate your cuddly, fluffy bunniness.

Invigilator 10-14-07 01:35 PM

Wow. I realize that this is the empty threat of a complete moron, but a threat against someone's life is an actual crime where I live. The "I'm just kidding" defence probably applies here though.

sjay2k 10-14-07 01:55 PM

we're talking about e-threats here, so it's actually the "LOL psych jk" defence.

bunny 10-14-07 03:03 PM

You're right. I don't want to be nasty, that's not my style. I'll stick with being my *flirtatious* self, instead. :p

I have honestly kept to myself lately and don't really bother chatting while playing at the tables, unless I bump into a friend. I have thought about blocking all chat, but then the few friends who drop by to say hello to me, might think I'm a snob.

Wonder if creating a new account will solve this problem?

JDMcNugent7 10-14-07 03:07 PM

i dont get why any1 acts like i played the hand bad. its almost a cooler HU the way i play. ill push so many diff hands there and get looked up by worse hands alot. just cuz i sucked out doesnt mean i played it bad.

bunny 10-14-07 03:12 PM

No offense JD, but I'd honestly never want to play cards with you. Not that I'd EVER be anywhere close to your league anyway.

You scare me. There's no telling what you will call with next. You're one very lucky fellow, I'll say that much.

You play it different (very aggressive) and it works for you. Enjoy it while you can.

Talking Poker 10-15-07 01:02 AM

I certainly didn't meant to imply that you played it poorly. You got your money in badly and got lucky. That's it. It is what it is.

The funnier part of that post was how he says you sat out 10 hands later and then wouldn't play him later on. And there's nothing wrong with that either. Playing good players HU is stupid, so I assume you thought he was good.

eejit101 10-15-07 10:13 AM

If anyone in the world sends me a check for $100k today in the mail for my birthday (im 23), ill play you HU JD, and we shall film it and eveyrone can laugh at me, or us depending how drunk you are, as ill be wasted.

bunny 10-15-07 10:17 AM

Bonne Fête, eejit!
