Pats are getting hot and they are loaded with players w/playoff experience while a lot of the other AFC teams do not have a lot of playoff experience.

you honestly think the chargers will hold out????? wow

Kurn 12-31-06 10:54 PM

I think the Saints get to the big dance before Sexy Rexy and the Bears, and the Pats handle them, too.

To be realistic, though, despite the fact that I agree that Schottenheimer is the Gene Mauch of football and will always find a way to lose, the Pats nedd Wilfork healthy to stop LT. Plus, I haven't heard the extent of Harrison's injury, though he was walking around on the sidelines.

I was actually impressed at how that Pats defense got seriously viscious with the Titans after the low hit on Brady (fueled by last week's spear) and the chop on Harrison.

Belichick had to sit Seymour for a while after it was obvious he was out there trying to provoke and/or injure someone, and after the Harrison hit, Bruschi looked like he was looking for a chance to go after anybody's knees.

Gotta stay professional for the playoffs, but its good to see they're capable of getting mean when crossed.

If I make enough cash next week *and* the Pats make to XLI, you can bet I'll be in Miami for the game.

Dont hat the JEts bc the wack ass JAgs didnt get in --- J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS

seriously the only team that worries me is th e chargers bc of th eurnning game and th jets horriblre run D. LT will run all over us. Th colts have a limited running game, and a horrible Defense which ius why I wanted to play them, bu tthe Pats we already proved we can bneat

Swa and Zy don't live anywhere close to each other...do they

Reel Deal 01-01-07 08:48 AM

Neutral field or at the Superdome I'd go with the Saints, outside at Soldiers I'm going with the Bears.

Reel Deal 01-01-07 08:48 AM

Soldier Field. And what NFL stadium has a sweeter name?

Chiefs made it baby! San Fran rocks. Larry is going to demolish Indy's defense, but Manning always makes me nervous. Chiefs win 27-24.

Reel Deal 01-01-07 06:25 PM

One and done.

PRINT IT

Zybomb 01-02-07 03:42 AM

I'll say this, Im betting the Jets this weekend getting 8.5 pts

Both the Colts and Pats are very beatable IMO... and no I wont bet the money line on the Jets, but I'll take the points

GeoffM 01-02-07 10:16 AM

Harrison is out for the playoffs (likely) for the Pats. There goes their already depleted secondary. But I'll still take them.

Kurn 01-02-07 11:24 AM

here's what the Chargers have to do to get to the Super Bowl.

a) beat 2 teams (NE and IND) who are better than anyone they've played this year.

b) beat one of the above and one of the 2 teams that already beat them this year.

or

c) beat both teams that already beat them this year.

All this with a head coach whose only skill in playoff games is doing precisely what it takes to lose.

Tall order indeed.

Robbr25 01-02-07 05:54 PM

We shall see if the Jets will lose or not,
but I believe it will be < 7 final spread.
My prediction is 17-14 JETS

Kurn 01-02-07 07:55 PM

Not saying the Jets *can't* win, But not 17-14. It'll have to be a blowout. Nobody wins close games against the Patriots in the playoffs.

If you really think the Jets will win, give a reason why they'll win 24-3.

Pats 20 Jets 13
