cant clear out old pics
 

hey TP I cant clear out my old pictures so my attachments are all full and cant upload pictures. I got to manage attachments and there is no delete box next to my pictures.

I believe that once the "editing period" has expired, you cannot remove a picture. I think we (moderators and TP) can do it but I think that might get time consuming. Is your attachement limit full when you go to attach a new picture?

I think there are many images that have been attached by people that would be wrong to remove (where it would make a whole thread not make any sense anymore), others would be ok to remove (but that could be VERY time consuming to do).

I think TP just upped everyones limit recently. Post back if you are indeed maxed out and we can see what we can do (I think it might have been that gay office Christams party porn you posted a while back that is causing you troubles:rolleyes: )

yea im totally full BB, after 2 pics I posted today I have like zero space availible.

On the bar that says xxx kb/ xxx kb used, what does it say is your maximum?

TP will have to decide how to fix this (either give you more room, or decide to delete your images, OR ban you for excessive picture use, his choice:D ).

I don't seem to have a way to search for all posts (only with attachements) by user, where I could go through your attachements to give you some more space till TP is on again.

If you want to go back (start at the oldest preferably) and find a few images that were attached that you think are not critacal to the thread, I will delete them for you to hold you over for a few days:p

EDIT: even though TP put on the thumbnail setting, I think you still get the full size of the large image taken away from your total, so while it looks like it is not a big deal to attach that 5 MB picture, it will eat up all your allotted space really quick.

that should do it for now. Try to get your files down to the 20-30 kb range (or lower) jpegs for posting if you can. That will make your space last longer

That's my bad... when I upped the limits for "everyone," I forgot to do it for the people with > 1000 posts (they are in their own group).

These are the new limits:
Regular Users: 10 MB of attachments, 500 PMs
1000 Post Club: 20 MB of attachments, 1000 PMs
