does the begging ever actually work?

I guess it must, so many people ask for free money that i guess they must get a positive answer once in a while. Sort of like how i can't imagine SPAM email ever working, but it must or people wouldnt send it out over and over again.

I guess i can not comprehend it ever working. I can not comprehend giving a stranger online any money to play poker with on pure principle, not to mention the fact that it makes absolutely no sense logically.

When i am feeling chartiable, i tend to give some money to 'charity' i guess.

Has any of the regulars on this forum ever given the beggars a buck or two after a good run?

On a side note - i do find the begging posts and the peole that go from room to room entertaining.

Hell, I am usually reluctant to lend my best friend any money. Too personal in my opinion.

i read somewhere that some of those guys make like 500-1000 a month begging for a dollar all day.

I only give $$$ to women who send me naked pictures of themselves first.

I have successfully given away $0 so far.

I find it annoying. These guys come in, say they will "cheer you on" for just a few dollars, etc. Whatever. Cause I just a rat's ass about being cheered on by some broke lunatic.

I'll bet they do make decent money though.... just not from me.

I believe this is what led PokerStars to not allow chat to observers who don't at least have the funds it their account to cover a buy in for the game. Good move on their part I think.
