This goes the first of a three-part article examining the extra $2 million in chips during the main event. The conclusions of the authors are incredible, and the unavoidable implications of the (well argued and maybe accurate) conclusions are disturbing. Long. Very long. But interesting too.

And it's funny, becaus their theory exactly matches mine. I didn't narrow it down to the exact 22 minute period that the error happened, but I was pretty confident that a color up was paid off doube at some point in the tourney. You simple can't account for THAT MANY more chips any other way.
