Gotta love that guy who made the $100K Dream Bet and gets paid to the sum of $900K. If he'd have done that with the Super and picked right he would have won ~$10B. :p

That's why they stipulated it had to be a win bet. ;)

Meanwhile I got nosed out of a nice payoff.

Thanks for the link. I figured there was a story behind it but I literally flipped over to the Derby as they were going into the final stretch. Then I heard reference to the Dream Bet guy and him jumping all around (did anyone else think his hair wasn't quite all natural???).

That definitely looked like a rug. I always want to walk up to a guy with a rug and point at my head and say "a lot of women like this" then point at his rug and say "ALL women laugh at that", but ultimately, I'm too nice a guy. ;)

Now at least, he can afford plugs.

Actually, no he wouldn't. pari-mutuel wagering. The super would've payed much, much less. hell, his win bet probably reduced the win payout by 10% or so.

Robbie Robb 05-02-10 04:03 PM

Good point. I was just taking it from the $202000 payoff on the $2 bet. Yeah, an extra $100K dumped on that would have sent it way down.
