You have to have someone for the top guns to beat up on - the Harlem Globetrotters had the Generals...

Well Eli is fun to watch cause he gambles like a degenerate. Just pretend Howard isn't there and you have a good game.

Good point.

Some observations on this so far …

Man, you have to respect these guys for the poker skills, but they are such degenerate gamblers. Not getting enough of a rush from playing high stakes poker on national TV, they have a constant stream of $50k prop bets on the color of the flop. The money won/lost on most poker hands is a fraction of that trading hands on the side action.

Just how much money does a guy like Ilari Sahamies have? If he runs bad at this table and drops a half million dollars or more, what then?

Patrick > Durr. My favorite hand of the episode was when Durr bets light on the river with air, and PA insta-calls with King high () to drag the pot.

pretty sure sahamies has more than u think, and i guess its degenerate, i mean i dont do it, but theres something to be said for their lack of any kind of real care for $ that no doubt helped them get to where they are.

It must drive the "poker's not gambling" dorks crazy, but the best poker players in the world are the best because they're gamblers first and poker players second.
