Blogs

Along with the forums, do you guys spend much time reading blogs? Like everything else associated with poker, the number of poker blogs are exploding lately.

Along with our own Aequitas of course, my favorites are …

Iggy (aka the Blogfather)
Cards Speak
Double Aces
Poker Chronicles
And the killer combo of stripper/professional poker player

Glad you asked so I know I am not alone on this one.

Basically, an online journal.

You are missing out

While a lot of the blogs out there can be boring, the good ones have a signal-to-noise ratio way higher than 2+2 for example. Check out Iggy’s latest entry, in which he debates NL vs. PL, which is a great topic for another thread.

Phillips speaks his mind

Yeah, along with Daniel N. of course, Phillips is one of the most vocal and interesting pros participating in the online community. It is always interesting to see him play on TV, then get his take on what happened a few days later, unedited and in his own words

along with paul phillips livejournal, i think that is a very good one. not all of the stuff is poker related, but most of it is, and it is pretty interesting.

also, liontales.com is pretty good. written by richard brodie, the head developer for the first version of microsoft word.

I haven't been keeping up with it because of my time posting here, playing online, and other work that I have. I gotta get back on it.

I refuse, though, to just continually post bad beat stories.
