Anyone else playing tonight?

How are you doing? I haven't won a hand yet. And unfortunately, I had some very playable hands, so I'm down under 700 already. No worries.

I'm still alive... Down to 170 players now. Top 70 get paid.

I have 2400ish chips. Average stack is 4000.

Yup. 100 players left. I only have 2500 chips. Average stack is 6300. I need to double up soon.

Just folded QJ UTG. Goo thing too, since AQ and AK went all in behind me, and the flop cme AKx. Yikes!

Uh oh... 33 in the BB and loose player is all in UTG. So tempting... LOL - I folded and the flop was K33. Would have made quads. Figures...

And I'm done.... What an annoying way to go out too (4 diamonds hit the board). I'll post a few key hands later.

Why did you deny using that screenname when I took a guess a month or so ago?

I don't regret laying this down - I knew I was 50/50 (at best, obviously, but I put him on big cards). Of course, had I gone in here, I would have won a lot more chips which I could have used to my advantage later (see next post):

Having only 5 big blinds in front of me, I knew my chips were going in here regardless, so I figured I might as well be the one to push them in preflop and see 5 cards. I mean, if I just called the 800 and didn't flop my set and there were any overcards, then what? Can' fold with that much in the pot and so little in front of me, so they would have gone all in anyway - especially with this flop. And he would have called, and we would have had the same result...

Perfectly fine play here, just didn't work out. Call was definitely out of the question. What did 1st pay?

Tough luck TalkingPoker, I didn't last very long. Second hand in I was victim to a better made hand which was a good lesson learned and then my AQ met AK. :mad:
