who's planning on going?

do you have to get a passport a few months in advance if you do go?

If I don't win a seat I'm thinking of just going down there and playing the 1k tournies they have almost everday and cash games instead of the ME, would any1 else be doing this?

Where you gonna stay? How great would it be if we could get a handful of us to share a "TP House" or something...

I'm not sure what I'm doing just yet. I have yet to play in a satellite for the PCA, but I'm planning on playing in (at least) tomorrow's and next Saturday's $650s, and I suppose I should hit a few double shootouts too.

When bdawg won his seat last year, I flew there and crashed with him, playing in the smaller tourneys just like you are talking about. Be sure to leave some time to enjoy Atlantis, btw... it is really awesomer.

Oh, about the passport thing - last year, you didn't need one for the Bahamas, but I think that may have changed. It's a good idea to have a passport anyway, so go ahead and get one now and be done with it. Then you won't have to worry about it for the next 10 years.

It takes about 30 days to get a passport. Just go down to your local Post Office for an application. You will need your birth certificate.

The MM $2.5 M is taking place during the PCA on January 6th (despite the fact that when you click on the tourney itself on 'Stars it says the 15th). I got the e-mail from them with the link to book my room and it said arrive on the 4th, check out on the 11th.

JD should get one anyway so he can kick ass on the Euro tour. :D

It takes time to get a passport, so if you are planning on it you should do it ASAP. Man I have been trying so hard to get a seat...it's not over yet. The only thing is, my school starts back before the week is over on the 8th so I would have a tough decision to make...but I wouldn't have to worry about a xmas present for the gf at least, thats almost worth it in itself.

eejit101 11-10-06 02:08 PM

shit, that would be kewl.

I guess il start playing some sattys.

I was gonna play more for the EPT monte carlo final, but the bahamas sounsa awesomer

JDMcNugent7 11-10-06 04:52 PM

I dn if I'm even going for sure, tho I think this is probably one of the coolest places a big poker tourny is held so I want to go to this above any others. I've played 3 sattys so far and got bad beated out of all of them. I'll def be playing more tho. I have no idea where I would stay, I kind of want to bring the GF along tho so probably some decent hotel.

LOL. A big weekend for me in college was a night at the Hyatt in Columbus, OH.

You can pay out the &^*^ for an expedited passport and get it earlier than 30 days, but probably just better to get one now. (I need one too :) )

Boobie Lover 11-10-06 07:35 PM

I'm currently trying to qualify for the main event, but if I don't qualify I might just go there anyway.

lightfungus 11-11-06 03:28 PM
