Finally, I am a bad host
 

I had been pretty unsuccessfull at my own home game for the early part of this year. Part of it had to do with my lack of patience for the speed of live play. Part of it had to do with the limp/call nature of the people in my game. Don't get me wrong, their are nice people, but few play anything approaching reasonable poker. (bluffing is damn near impossible, but a few people will happily pay you off with top pair, 2nd pair, bottom 2 pair, etc.)

That being said, I took down my own re-buy event last night, by making carefull adjustments for those specific factors.

in Yang-esque form, I caught runners for an inside straight on the final hand. The lovely (and I mean LOVELY) young lady who got heads up with me let me catch up for free and found she was priced in on the river.

I have been bad about taking pics for this years league. I have a wall of various pics in the poker room and I will have to add to it next month. The loveliness will be a top priority, I promise.

BTW: I found a new use for sungalsses at the the poker table. ;)
