FTP Blocked by who?
 

So I haven't had much time for poker recently because of my job and travel, but occassionally i get back to the hotel in time for a little bit of pokee and I get the ole "there is a new version" bidness but then it says it can't connect. So I figure whatever, I'll just go to the website. And I go there (FTP.com) and get all the way to the download page, click on it, and I get the below message.

Now I went to FTP.net and everything was fine...

I am on the work laptop, but I am not using a proxy, I don't have a firewall on, and the connection here at the hotel doesn't require a login or anything...

What the hell is that?

You are not connected to the hotel network - hope you didn't do any banking...

I'm plugged into the wall with the wireless disabled....it doesn't make sense.

That, my new internet poker "friends" - is Turkish.

Was there earlier this year, recognize the language.

And its asking to please change the license tag to an appropriate one, according to a Turkish speaking friend. I forgot the rest, but im guessing their internet is either hacked from Turkey, the hotel staff are Turkish, or "24" is real and sleeper cells are here
