JDMcNugent7 11-30-05 04:51 PM

are we sposed to say wut we voted ?- i vote Don't Care

BrianSwa 11-30-05 04:51 PM

up to you

its up to you if you post words or not or you can just vote.

majority will be the final here though.

420Smurf 11-30-05 04:52 PM

Ya I voted I don't care either lol hope everyone doesn't do that though because it won't help the cause much. :)

BrianSwa 11-30-05 04:53 PM

hey

if I dont care wins then it will be decided by people putting league together,.

420Smurf 11-30-05 04:55 PM

Ok , figured you had a plan for that when you put that as a choice, sounds again like a great idea. Hope this works out and we can get one, sounds like tons of fun.

Nikita 11-30-05 04:59 PM

I voted for $5. I don't have a very big bankroll.

BlibbityBlabbity 11-30-05 05:19 PM

Is this for the Leaugue fee or the individual event buyins??

BrianSwa 11-30-05 05:20 PM

leaugue fee.

I think for individual games we will run 2-3 different buy in events each week alternating per week on them.

BlibbityBlabbity 11-30-05 05:23 PM

Ok, I changed the title just to make sure people know what they are voting for....

BDMK 11-30-05 05:59 PM

i'd go for the minimum amount in both instances, which i think in this case would be $5.

we should be wary of the fine line dividing a total chaos, if it's all totally free, on one hand, and only a very small handful of ppl participating if at all, if it becomes 'expensive'. and for this reason also IMHO our league should be a mixture of buyin and freeroll events, possibly 50-50.

there are a dime a dozen $11 pvt/league buyin tourneys on stars every day, and 99.99% of them are either attended by 4-5 ppl or just canceled outright.

BrianSwa 11-30-05 06:04 PM

ugh

im against any of them being freerolls.

BrianSwa 12-01-05 08:40 AM

hmmm

Looks like the $5 one is running away with it, I actully voted for $10 even after that big thing in the main thread.

PShabi 12-01-05 10:56 AM

If I don't care wins, the next highest voted value should win.

BrianSwa 12-01-05 12:25 PM

K

that works.

Talking Poker 12-01-05 01:19 PM

Well, I voted for $20, but if it comes down to $5 or $10, I'd like to revote for $10, so as to not waste my vote.

$20 is the Nader of this poll.

BrianSwa 12-01-05 01:26 PM

K

making note of that TP.

gonna let this run to around 3rd week of december so plenty of time.

So get out some charts and graphs and make a pitch :D

nm, I was thinking of Perot  :D

MAYHEM45 12-01-05 03:02 PM

hahaha, damn, looks like I voted for the green party as well.

rookette22 12-01-05 03:17 PM

k after last night's fiasco i understand but how's about adding to the pot that's an option no?

and no i'm not rich enough to add to the pot; don't even know if i'm rich enough to be in this so called league

hmm...what am i still doing here  lol

BrianSwa 12-01-05 03:20 PM

???

not sure what you mean, all the tornies are real money buy in so every league event top finishes walk away with money. The money charged for entering league is given to the top players at end of 10 weeks.

Hawt 12-02-05 01:33 AM

Just to clarify (for myself and anyone else confused)

The League Fee is the amount we have to pay (once?) to be able to register in the tournaments? Then we pay a buy in for each individual tournament?

Edit: BrianSwa just made a post right before me which I think explains my question.

Note: I voted for $5 because right now $10 is 1/3 of my small bankroll and wouldn't leave me much for actual tournaments. If I keep doing well in these small buy in tournaments though, I might be up for $10.

BrianSwa 12-02-05 07:48 AM

hmmmn

just reading your bad beat section dosent look to good though.

anyway I think the winner is $5, I think this should work fine for the 1st time we do this then we can move it up next time if it is a a sucess. BB right now is working out a schedule and once we get a ok by everyone then we will start the registering.

JDMcNugent7 12-02-05 11:04 AM

so are u playin now Swa ?

BrianSwa 12-02-05 11:06 AM

maybe

I was playing if it was $10 or $5 just not $20, my schedule is crazy from day to day so I really dont know. If I can play and still have time to run it then yes but Id much rather run it then play to be honest.

figure I should do something nice for change.
